I'll pay to download any movie depending on:
1. The file size / quality
2. The price
3. The movie

How about downloading things that aren't movies? Like TV specials or episodes on a schedule? I would go for that if it was affordable.
Movies, movies, movies. When do I have 1.5-2.5 hours to waste watching movies when I could 1) play games 2) live my life or 3) play more games ?
This mentality of PSP as a movie device is what's wrong with the system. We need more interactive media.

That'll never and can't happen. The takes time to make the VHS & DVD versions of a movie from the original film master. So, it'll take even more time to make a video file from that same master.

sable, only a few months ago a number of Hollywood production firms were considering battling piracy by releasing DVDs of movies just a week or two after opening in the cinema, so never say never.

Often it is possible to obtain such movies from the internet if you care to look.
It is often of questionable legality though.
It is also often possible, if you manage to find a particularly good place to look, that you might be able to find such movies _before_ they are actually available to be screened in public facilities.
edit:
that being said i'd rather pay for my movies. For the PSP, i'd frankly just rather not buy movies. Its a nice screen but... If i have time to watch a movie then i'd rather do it at home on a big screen.
Short films perhaps? I like short film festivals a lot.
Most well known films i've seen anyway and i'd rather not buy two copies (DVD and download/umd/other)edited: Oct 24 2005
