there's a way of getting rid of some dead pixels without buying a new one..... here's some info about it link

Nice find! My pixels are fine, but someone from school does have pixel problems.
+
yeah i had two and scratched the screen..then returned it to walmart for a new one, now no scrathes or dead/stuck pixels
+
you got it at walmart is why it had dead pixels
+
Mine has one, but I got it used, so can't complain really. Didn't have the headphones either... I should return it to wal-mart for a new one, heh.
+
I'm happy I've got no dead pixels. But a few of them are dirty, probably because whoever put mine together didn't brush off the screen before putting the face plate on. So now I gotta fid out how to remove the face to clean off the actual display.
+
sounds like walmart is crap
+
i got like 2 but i got use it

I bought my over my lunch hour and didn't start it up till I got home that evening. I ended up heading back to Best Buy to return it that night because it had 4 dead pixels. They switched it out right away and my second one has been flawless so far.
