I am assuming this is talking about dropping the PSP unit unit itself. I have dropped it in it's sem-hard case before, but that doesn't do a bit of damage to the actual unit.
my brother took it from me at school and than proceeded to drop it, putting a small deep scratch in my screen and i'll be damned if he touches it again.
I've been lucky and careful and my PSP hasn't dropped yet (**knocking on wood**) but thats also including some spectacular catches! I made a shoestring catch like the Immaculate Reception when my 6-yr old decided to swing my PSP but the wrist strap and it slipped!!! I saw it fly and was off the couch and in full powerdive to catch my PSP like Jeter in the hole. Needless to say... NO-ONE touches my PSP anymore under pain of death!
I've never dropped my PSP. In fact, the only handheld I've ever dropped is my Walkman (which fell out of my pocket while I was mowing grass) and my GBA SP (which didn't even recieve a noticible scratch).
Me and my friends were goin to this girls house and my friend shook my arms whiile I was holdin the PSP. I was juggling it in my hands for about 10 seconds and finally...it dropped!!! The front of the psp had little marks around the outside but nothin on the screen.
