Sony has released a new service for the PSP's, called Playstation Spot. If you're in a Playstation spot enviroment, you'll be able to download specifically selected game demos, music tracks, movies and photos - all at the touch of a button. Easy to use and complete wireless, you just select the media you want, and seconds later it's on your screen ready to be played, viewed or listened as many times as you want. Playststion spot been avaliable in Japan for a while now too, just goto any electronic store like Bic Camera and Yodobashi.
I hear that SONY is going to introduce this at US retailers soon too which includes Best Buy.
And I too have requested for Gangs of London.....can't wait to try it out!
Personally I like the idea that sony releases demos which we can download (a la Loco Roco) since I won't have to drive anywhere.
there is not a spot anywhere near me and im not going to travel 200miles to download a demo.....its not that widespread yet but it will be great when its everywhere!
