IGN has conveniently posted a file made by krypt0nian to check whether your PSP has any dead pixels.
The file is a series of coloured images which you can tranfer to your PSP. The images are made to put the PSP under certain conditions which will help you spot the dead pixel(s).

used it. found a dead pixel. didn't notive it before. now i look at it everytime. wish i didn't use it! i'd rather be oblivious... well, i'll be using my best buy extended warranty in about a year or so. =)
