1up said: "Capcom loves collections. From retro games to series specific packs, the company seems to be making a killing milking its legacy. Mega Man is practically to the point of having collections of collections. And yet, with Capcom's announcement that the Power Stone series will be getting a collection -- and it will be on PSP -- we were surprised.

Though well regarded in certain circles, the Power Stone titles have never really been standout games. The first one made a bit of noise for being an early Dreamcast title and was one of the few real "3D" fighters at the time, while the second game moved into a slightly wacky direction with a focus on multiplayer mini-games that seemed to be going after the Mario Party audience.

Well, both are now headed to PSP in Power Stone Collection. In addition to the two original games, the collection will feature bonuses such as four characters from Power Stone 2 available in Power Stone 1, reorganized HUDs and camera angles to work better with the PSP's screen, new weapons, a Bomber Battle mini-game in Power Stone 2, a training mode, a screenshot-taking mode and a bunch of unlockables.

We haven't yet had a chance to check out Power Stone Collection in person, but the list of additions sounds significant enough to make both games worthy of a new look from series fans. Two may be a rather small number of games for a Capcom collection, but if the added features turn out to be as nice as they sound, this should be an ideal package for the Power Stone faithful. Power Stone Collection is set to hit stores in the fourth quarter of this year; head over to our media page to check out the first screens or our downloads page to watch a trailer. "

I've been saying this even before launch, powerstone is a great multiplayer game and always has been. Hopefully they keep all the old weapons and don't skimp out. I would really like a few of the extra stages like the tree house (PS2) and an infastructre mode would be awesome!!! I will preorder this first chance I get!!!
