The Custom Tracks feature in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is now available. All you need to do is download this program and rip the CD's you want to play in game. Make sure to read the PDF for instructions.
Put CD in drive. Game reads CD and querys database for track name. You can type them in if you want also. Game uses EAC to convert the tracks. Once done, connect your PSP to your PC via USB.
The Custom Track software will see your PSP. If you have a GTA save, it will allow you to add these tracks to your stick. It is all done via the software and cannot be done manually.
If you have a lot of MP3, you can just burn a disc from a playlist and use that instead of an actual purchased CD.
Shut the hell up. Who cares if you are not going to buy it or not. I personally am tired of your random comments and annoying as hell rants. If Rockstar is so damn stupid then why the hell have they made SO much f'in money off the GTA series? Sure there are tons of things people dislike but it doesn't bring the sales down because one ass has to complain about not enough room on his memory stick for these things. Get over it, go ask your mommy for some extra allowance.
Can't believe someone who only has room apparently for four tracks is whining because he doesn't understand how to get custom soundtracks to work anyway.
skooboi, i used nero, 1st i picked burn image, then selected audio cd in image recorder mode, then add in ur mp3s into the list then burn the image as u would for a normal cd. this image now will burn and will store on ur hard drive on ur pc. now u google and find daemon's tools. this tool will mount ur cd audio disc image so it will act as u slipped a cd into ur cd drive but ur actually using the ghost drive in daemon's tools, now go to rockstar custom tracks and select the ghost drive and there u go the mp3's u put on ur cd image disc will be listed as tracks.
I do not appreciate your misleading information. You CANNOT simply burn your MP3s to a data CD and load them, you have to make a standard music CD. Thats stupid i know but its annoying even more that i wasted my only blank CD-R
I was kind of dissappointed at how easy their method was (look at where the program puts your .gta music files it'll be something like ULUS10041CUSTOMTRACKS). It's not very clever. But, hey this brings up the notion of if it's that easy, then I bet more games will be using this sort of system....depending on how user friendly it becomes. I love daemon tools and nero and all, but it's kind of annoying that you have to "reburn" your mp3 collection to a 8.5gb dvd image every time you want to put some new music into your game. I think it could be done better. That's all.
*EDIT*
I changed my mind, that's not all. I just wanted to let that chinkstha84 know that that was exactly the first thing i thought of when i opened the program. first i was like oh sheite, then i looked at my taskbar and saw daemon tools.
