IGN said: "Konami still has surprises hiding in cardboard boxes when it comes to the next PSP entry in the Metal Gear series, but a new trailer going around and shown on the TGS show floor lets a few extra details about the game out. The TGS trailer for Metal Gear AC!D 2 is totally different from that shown to us at prior events, and gives us some names to attach to known faces.

The first big detail from the TGS trailer that we caught was in a line about bosses -- the trailer said that there would be "Many New Bosses". None of these new bosses were shown in the video -- we've already seen two bosses in prior trailers -- and it is unknown exactly what defines "Many" here. We do know that the hulking masked figure with the regal black coat, who was last seen at the Konami BBQ hurling explosive barrels at Snake with absolute ease, is named Vince. The sneaky, hunched figure who hung up on the ceiling in prior trailers appears to be named Chandiel (the name was difficult to read on the trailer due to the foreground animation.)

Added to Snake's side is a kick-ass new chick named Venus. This new gal isn't soft-spoken and slow on the trigger like Teliko. In the two clips of her shown in the trailer, we see Venus in her skimpy neon-red hot-pants outfit opening up a clip of fire and then kicking somebody's face in. It looks like you'll need a good partner for AC!D 2 as well, because the new trailer gives us a better look at the new Metal Gear, which is decked out in purple armor and lots and lots of guns.

Aside from that, the trailer covered a lot of ground we've seen before, from slightly different angles. The train mission was shown briefly, and the sequence on the tanker shell was prominently featured. There was also a prime focus on areas that featured gigantic glass tubes of bubbling chemicals, although we didn't see any action with Snake inside this lab yet. "

I honestly did not like the first AC!D. While I was used to the unforgivingly long cut scenes (as are all Metal Gear fans), I wasn't fond of the gameplay. Don't get me wrong, I can sit down on Age of Empires and build away for hours. But AC!D just took too much away from the action with plotting moves, determining strategy. The element of stealth was still there, but if you've grown up with a Metal Gear cartridge (yes, I said cartridge) in your mouth, AC!D just wont do the trick.

That and I'm already about 5% biased against card battle games anyway. (Except for the ones in Final Fantasy VIII and IX)
