XXX, Hellboy, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, and Once Upon a Time in Mexico will be released on UMD on April 19.

GameSpot said: "Sony Pictures Home Entertainment said action films XXX, Hellboy, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, and Once Upon a Time in Mexico will be available for the PSP in mid-April, a few weeks after the device launches in North America. Additional movie releases on the new Universal Media Disc (UMD) optical media format used by the PSP will be made monthly thereafter, according to the announcement."

Any information on UMD releases coming in Japan? The only movie I'm looking forward to is (along with everyone else -i hope) is advent children.

Yes I remember that they planed to release Advent Children in UMD. So while Square hasnt given a date, it shouldnt be too far off from the PSP release date. I wouldnt mind getting movies for my(once I save my money hehe) PSP, but I wont be going out and buying every one in UMD.

I only care about Resident Evil: Apocalypse, however, I already have it converted. I can't play American UMDs on my PSP anyway, it's imported.
