We've introduced you some of the weapons in the game and the multiplayer aspect, now it's time to show you a little bit of what you'll be facing in Coded Arms Single Player mode.
The story revolves around medical advancements towards the end of the 20th century which allow for a direct connection between the brain and digital networks. A special virtual reality war simulator called A.I.D.A was constructed to take advantage of this new technology. Unfortunately, a serious flaw was found in the system and the project had to be cancelled. As you might expect, A.I.D.A. took a life of its own and was not co-operative about shutting itself down.
A hacker discovered that during the development stage of this project, A.I.D.A. had been self-duplicating a labyrinth inside its virtual reality world. The project's objectives were to breed the highest quality war simulator, and A.I.D.A. carried out this objective to a greater degree than its creators were aware. It is thought that the simulation had become so intense that anyone jacking in virtually could potentially lose their life on account of the strength and power of A.I.D.A.. This was the fatal flaw.
You are Coded Arms, the agent entrusted to jack in to the virtual reality system and make your way through the A.I.D.A. war simulator and shut it down.
In keeping with the virtual reality vibe, each level will be randomly generated, helping to keep you on your toes through each play-through. This will also mean that enemies and diffrent types of enemies will appear in different areas, forcing you to focus not on map strategies but strengthening your skills with the assorted array of weapons.
Obtaining the latest weapons will help you clear each sector (ie, stage), but getting each weapon isn't required. Each sector consists of 3 different battlefields with increasing levels of difficulty. Clearing the sector also consists of hacking various gates to progress. It is not yet clear how this hacking works.
During each stage you'll be able to view a 3D map which is automatically generated for each random sector and battlefield. You'll also be able to go through your weapons list. With more than 30 weapons in the game, it'll be important to keep your goods organized and charged up.

There are various traps throughout the game, some are environmental obstacles, while in other areas the enemy will block your way. Use your newly found weapons to move forward.

Using your weapons strategically will be important to your progress. Some areas may require you to thoughtfully take out enemies with your sniper rifle or other methods.

You can also set landmines and then run for cover, waiting for an enemy to walk into your trap.

Some enemies will drop items.

Below are just a few of the enemies you will meet throughout the 6 sectors in the game.
Anthrax is a merciless soldier with powerful armor and a virus type weapon. It is a powerful opponent that has the ability to nullify virus attacks. This enemy's flaw is that it's slow.
The Ghost is a legacy program capable of teleporting around the battlefield.
The Swing Worm hangs from the ceiling and shoots a powerful laser which has a wide range.
Stingray is the name of this enemy program which searches out combatants. Highly effective, there aren't any weak points.
Striker is an enemy capable of flame attacks. Killing the enemy quickly and strategically is important.
The Fly is a deceptive enemy. At first glance it looks easy, but due to its small size and large group, it can be quite difficult to take out.
Coded Arms is shaping up to be a rich and enthralling game. The wide array of enemies, weapons and randomized maps should keep the game fresh and highly replayable. Add multiplayer to that and you've got a killer FPS.

Why do people enjoy saying "portable halo"? I don't like playing Halo and I'm not a "fanboy" of it, but it just sounds stupid. Like people are getting too excited. Truth: It will not be "better" than halo. I do believe it will revolutionize the way we look at FPS for handhelds though. Truth: Best looking FPS for a portable system.
