Sony released a new firmware update today for all US PSPs. This update requires 14 MB to be free on your Memorystick. You can go to Network Update in your Settings to download the update on your PSP through a Wi-Fi connection. Alternatively, you can download the update onto computer via the link, then copy onto the PSP's Memorystick.
what does this update actually do to my system, and does any one know when the really good update i s being released with the browser, and writing tools?
My understanding is that the browser will be on a UMD along with a bunch of streaming media tools and what not (like the Korean release). Additionally there will more then likely be a service that goes along with the browser function. Hopefully the community will find a way to circumvent that sort of insanity.
Did anyone ever consider that the people at Sony may have found a bug in the firmware?? (Inherent in any software development) And wanted their customers to be up-to-date?
