For those of you who want to put some video on your PSP, but don't have any, or don't want to go through the hassle of finding a good encoder -- you can go to Atom films, they have 3 PSP formatted films for download (you WILL need the USB connector cable).
The films themselves are pretty kool, and the compression on them is adequate (some artifacts are visible). All that being said, it's pretty kool people are offering free content out there that's legal....!
Just put it in your MP_ROOT100MNV01... folder. It already has that goofy name and everything, plus it comes with its .THM file.
OMFG! This is so flippin' sweet. I haven't yet watched these short films, so I can't vouch for the quality, but the fact that AtomFilms.com is supporting the PSP gets me so psyched. Because of this I am going to buy that USB cable and preorder the 1GB SanDisk memory card. Seriously though... PSP has only been available in the U.S. for about 3 weeks, and look at all the amazing support its getting. I can't wait to see what happens next.
