At first, I could not get used to the bizzarre face pulling..having only watched (in its entirety) Cowboy Bebop and Berserk before, the Trigun humour wasn't something I was used to. I like my characters to be ultra cool, but you know what? I actually laugh out loud at Vash...his madcap antics only make him look cooler when indeed he is being a hard-ass! It has all the good stuff anime has to offer: cool characters, diverse story, wicked villians, etc., and lacks a lot of the kiddie stuff (i.e. No Shippo!). Even the title is cool.
