Go on! You know you want it

Some of you might recognize the dark elf, Drizzt. Both are simply pictures that were gimped to death. Especially the one with the sword. Since I haven't got my Photo Shop installed I can't do a very high-quality job.
Enjoy.
BTW, Gimp is a GREAT photo editing tool nonetheless. If you plan on getting Photoshop, try it out first. It's a free download.

Like the wallpaper. Will download one of them on the weekend.

I like Drizzt except for the revolution he caused where now alluva sudden all Drow can be good and regularly go to the surface world for adventures and whatnot.

I know, I know, but he really brought the drow-like style to life and made it his own. He is one of my favorite characters.

nice job. not familiar with the series, enlighten me as I haven't read much good Sci-fi in a while.
The second one if my favorite. I like it so much that I may consider replacing my BSG Wallpaper with it...

They aren't sci-fi its fantasy-fiction. Look up the book Homeland by R.A. Salvator if you are interested. It would take hours to tell you the story of Drizzt alone.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't read any good "fantasy-fiction" in a while either... ;-)

ahaha the only thing i know drizzt from is dark alliance ^.^

If you want to read some good fantasy try the "Song of Ice and Fire " series by George R.R. Martin which is the greatest series of books ever. I also read R.A. Salvatores' books but after the last trilogy I haven't been reading them but I probably will go back if I ever finish all the other series that I am reading.
Other really good fantasy authors are Robert Jordan, Raymond E. Feist, and whoever wrote the Black Jewels Trilogy (can't remember her name right now.)
