If you are like me, and do not have one of the larger/better analog nubs for the PSP, then this is for you! It makes the analog more reactive and you can grip it better!
The only thing you need is some tape that is used for wounds. Like the stick tape used to wrap something. My tape is called 'Mueller Tape'.
Cut out about 2 square inches off the tape.
Then cut the tape into individual peices about .5 in by .5 in.
Put one small piece of tape on the face of the analog nub.
Then turn the nub upside down, and cut away all the extra tape.
Repeat steps 3 & 4 to acheive desired height.
Notes
Do not press any tape down to cover the sides of the analog or the bottom. It will result in the analog nub putting sticking residue all over the area where it goes. The junk is hard to clean off the faceplate and the nub. Try not to go crazy and put too much tape on it. If there are more than 10 pieces, it will not fit inside most case very well. I used 7 and it works great. (5 MM high)
When I played SOCOM again, I noticed that I did not lose my grip on the analog anymore. It seemed that I played better. Don't bother using scotch tape or duck tape because those are even more slippery than the normal nub. The only thing bad about this is that it looks somewhay ugly on the PSP, but I don't mind.
Hmmm, interesting.
You probably could take a band-aid, cut the adhesive sides off, stick as many as you need, and when you're done, color the adhesive so it somewhat "matches" your PSP.
