You have to disable all of your Firewalls to make this work.

yea u can make playlists with artist names..or Albums....u have to set the setting when u make the playlist to.."start with" and then a letter...and the playlist will have all the artists with that letter u put in the settings...
NO..its that in the link the web adress apears as http:// youriphere:8080,/..and its sopposed to be the same thing except without a COMMA between 8080 and /....thats all...
You dont have to disable all your firewalls... you only need to open certain ports to do everything. Totally easy and secure. Just need a program like CCPorts or something to determine which ports it wants to use.
And I think he means the windows software firewall, not your network firewall.
i have one main question i have done and everything and now stuck on the last part of how to get itunes playlist onto the psp. where i am getting stuck is when it askes you to go to the link off your psp. i have already tried my ip address and the 8080 number. if someone can help me out that will be great. i just somehow need to go to the psp server and get the rss add box that way i will be set
Thank YOu
Hey buffdesi, about your problem...
Make sure you type http:// before you type your ip and the port number (:8080)
I had the same problem at first. You might have fugured it out by now, but if you don't here you go. link <-- I don't like how it just says "link" - that confuses people i think.. imo, anyway just click it
Guys,
You only have to disable all your firewalls if you want to use the rss outside your house/wireless network. I just like it b/c it allows me to save the small, 1gb memory card in my psp for better things, like movies. Now i can just stream the music to my psp and and plug it into by sick nasty speakers. !
Okay, I'm apologizing now for being so dense, but I don't get this. When I download the file on my Mac and try to open it, it's a text file of some sort. I need someone to walk me through this step by step.
Did we ever figure out why it says "skipped" on the songs? I figured out how to make the software work...except it skips through all my songs and won't play them...sigh.
