Note: Make sure WiFi switch on the left of your PSP is 'on'.
• Go to settings, scroll down to network settings, click on infrastructure.
• Click on [New Connection] and name it whatever you want.
• Scan for acces points.
• Connections (the SSID is the name the user set for the router, the security is the code you need to acces the router if the security says none and the signal has a decent percent, then you are good to go! If you don't have a signal that doesn't have "no security" then u will find the wep or wpa code on the bottom of the router.
• Select correct SSID then proceed, it will ask you for the WLAN Security Setting select which one of the security settings you need (none, WEP,or WPA).
• Proceed, select Easy when it asks for Adress Settings.
• It will go over your connection options, click right on the D-pad, save, then test connection.
To Download latest Firmware
If you have a succesful connection, then you can do this all wirelessly.
• Scroll up to Network Update in Settings section, click it.
• Click on the connection you just made.
• Follow the instructions to install the latest Firmware software for PSP.
For those without a router, plug ur PSP into your computer and use the walkthrough on the official US Playstation Site.
If you succesfully downloaded and installed the new Version of software you can now use the new browser which is located to the right of the game section.
Usage
• L - back
• R - forward
• Triangle - display menu/taskbar
• O - close browser
• X - enter/open links
• Hold box and use anolog to scroll
• Hold box and use d-pad to scroll the page
• Hold box and use r and l to look at different tabs (similar to windows-type-thingys)
• Hold x to open a different tab
Everything else for the web browser is pretty self explanetory.
• At main menu selectmultiplayer, then infrastructure.
• Select your good connection.
• Agree to disclaimer.
• Select game server you wish to play and have fun!

i try to coxn to the internet but my psp saids some kind of error like" a conx error has occurred you have been disconnected from the acces point" what doies that mean can anybody plz help me thx guys......

When i surf the web on my psp some of the pages say " not enough memory" does this happen to anyone else?

all the time MetalBack. but just erase your history every few sites and it shouldn't say { not enough memory.}

how do you watch downloaded videos off the internet directly from the PSP?

no dial up for psp
"error message" your trying to access a secured network and you dont have the correct password or you dont have authorization for it.
"not enough memory" get used to it untill the next firmware comes out and lets the browser use your memory stick memory for browsing you will always get it. you may also want to change your cache setting to do not use.
you can watch video by uploading mpeg-4 or avc. straight from your pc or you can download video podcast by setting up your rss
To be able to find a server you need to be close to a free wifi (like phoenix airport) or have wifi in your house

well i can only find something to connect to with my psp but it has a WEP code that I need and I also have a wireless router and it doesn't say anything but i don't know where to find my WEP code on my computer so somebody please help me because this sounds cool.

ive tried and tried many different public wireless ap (access points) even the library ones.none worked untill this week i found one in hatfield pretoria (South-Africa)next to news cafe that allowed me to connect and browse.it did a update first to version 4.01 but not all websites seem to work?
any reason why other ap s dont work even ones with no security?
