Are you tired of connecting your PSP to your computer and having it say "Removable Drive"? Dont you want something to make it pop? Now you can. Check out this link. Download that Zip file and extract the 3 files to the root of your memory stick (you can delete the ReadMe.txt file as everything in it is stated here). The needed files are an Autorun.inf file and a PSP.ico file.

When you connect your PSP to your PC and put it into USB mode, your computer will read the drive and the autorun file in there. The Autorun file tells the computer to mount the drive and use the PSP.ico file as it's icon (which looks just like a PSP) and tell it to label the drive "Sony PSP".

Much better than the standard Removable Drive label and icon windows gives it. Hope someone finds this useful. Note that you can edit the inf file and name the drive whatever you want. "My Crazy PSP Memory Stick" or whatever.

the pop noise bothered me too.. so i found PSP sounds online somewhere.. when my computer starts up and shuts down.. you hear the psp startup sound. and when the psp connects to the computer too. so this is a nice addition.

good thanx yoyo pete coz when i renamed the memory card manually, byright-clicking properties, it had limited text, but this one has bigger storage for more text!:-)By the way, i wont share youre link with anyone!
