The PSP Headset is brilliant. The PSP Headset 2000 series is for the PSP Slim and lite. The PSP Headset 1000 is for the Original. Anyway The Headset works on Socom 2 Fireteam Bravo, and allows you to talk to virtually anyone in the world, who has it. It's Brilliant! You can add people to your friemd's list if they accept your request. You can create and join clan's and go against others in a battle all over the world. Plus send mail to your clan members and friends. You can go on different countries such as English speaking, german, French etc....and can join a range of games. But watch out, I'd watch you say sometimes as users can ban you from there game, if votes from other users go against you.

Sony had a great idea when making these, but forgot the fact that you might want some other games that can use this feature.
If you're looking for good sound, don't use these, I reccomend the Sony Fontopia headphones or the ones that your PSP came with.

I was looking for something big when I saw the picture online. They are actually very small. They are about the size of a dollar coin but that does not mean anything bad. They work very good for there pupose. I played for about an hour and they did not bother me. The only reason I would see you not likeing their fit is if you have very large ears. I see no other alternatives so go ahead and get them if you have socom.

This headset brings a whole new meaning to PSP Infrastructure.
Fit
The fit is perfect, The little loops around the earpeice fits perfectly around my ear.
Quality
Sound quality is awesome, it sounds just like XBL. Except sometimes you'll find someone that has it too far away from their mouth and all you hear is a small voice mumbling at you. But you just have to remind them and they'll move it and you are ready to go!
The build quality is decent, but there are way to many wires in the way. It almost takes the second P out of PSP. You also need that flimsy remote for this thing to work.
How does it work in Gameplay?
Great! Sometimes you have to hold the button a little longer than 1.5 seconds and then you're dead. But who cares?! You have a PSP Headset!
Other uses
They work ok as regular earphones. But you are better off using regular headphones. No reason to buy these if you don't play online.
