My standard AC charger is missing. While at the store, the standard ones are around $25. Since I'm hoping mine will resurface, I decided to go cheap as possible.
I found this product for $7. It doesnt feel like the most durrable product ever, but it should do it's job. The USB cord expands to about 1.5 feel long and connects into the PSP's USB and power ports.
USB works like any standard cable. The charging aspect of it does the job. It's not as fast as the standard AC charger, but leaving it to charge over night did the trick. When I woke, the amber light is off, meaning charge complete.
That's about all I know. For $7 it did the trick.

The Boxwave Minisync does exactly what it claims to do. It's a great little package that allows you to both connect the PSP and charge the console using your computer's USB port. I got mine with a car adapter which turns the Minisync into a car-charger for your PSP using the cigarette plug. I thought that was pretty cool.
My only complain about this product is that it's really cheaply made. The metal looks cheap. The plastic looks cheap. It feels really cheap in your hands. The whole item has that Shenzen street market/computer back-alley vibe about it. Although there doesn't seem to be any other product out there that have the features of this unit in such a compact size, I would say that the quality of the product did not justify the asking price.
