Hey I got 2 of these from E-Bay. I have both the Chinese and English version. Whats the difference you might ask? And why do I need two batteries?

Well first off, I have 2 batteries because. At first I bought the chinese one unknowingly from E-Bay. I was upset, beacuase it look cheap, felt cheap. Whilie looking kinda original Sony like. The paint on it looks different. Like a rejected quality control unit. But it works great. So for people that think" Well.. Its inside my PSP. People wont notice." The chinese one is for you. Great battery life. (My PSP says 5+ hours fully charged!!) I dont know if it really works for 5+ hours. I dont do anything that long only sleep.

Being upset and ocd about quality I bought the english battery from E-Bay. It was great. Beter quality. Looks better, feels better. But its the same battery life. Yes it did cost little more. $16.50 ( The Chinese one was $12.95.. And it came with the stand alone charger. bear in mind, it too was substandard quality but fonctional none the less).
honestly I don't trust the charger with the chinese battery. Some times it wont charge. Like the charging light goes out after 10 mins. Jiggle the unit or unplug It and re-plug it and it works. So somthing is not right with that.

But all said and done both batteries are great. The only difference is quailty. I use the english version in my PSP, and keep the chinese as back up. Great battery life. Both say 5+ hours on a full charge. I suggest geting it from E-bay. Only $16.50

The reason I am giving this unit a review score of 100 is because it is an improvement of the old battery pack. I believe that is all that should be said. It gave me an extra 30 minutes of play time. If you are looking for a new battery, I would recommend you get this one instead of the regular PSP 1800 mAh battery.

Well, there's not much you can say about a battery pack. But let's start with the PSP main flaw; the battery life. It's not very long, which is why technically this battery pack fails in it's most important job - keeping your PSP alive as long as possible.

Fortunately it's life isn't too short and you still have plenty of time to enjoy your games, movies and music. You can also buy yourself a second battery pack for emergencies so if you ever run out of juice on the move you can just switch'em over.

This is a standard and average piece of hardware but it gains points for how useful it is and how much we depend on it.
