It's a great game, althougth it would have been a lot better if it was RTS. Load times are ok, thought they could be better.

I was waiting for a game just like this. FC definetly works well on the PSP system if you're on the go.

Definetly worth looking at! We need more like this. I won't go over the good points cause it's definetlyinetly worth adding to the collection so I will just hit some things I found lacking.

The AI definetly needs better settings. The AI only gave me a few runs for my money in the game with the last mission being the longest at 101 turns but I never felt like I was going down. The AI only rushed on me with force once and didn't keep it up. Its like the AI gets bored and looks for somethig else to do.

Movement would be better if you could pick each grid. The game will wrap your arrow to the smallest dist even if you have more to go. IE You have a mine in your way so you go around but sometimes it will remap your move to go right over the mine when you can just go around. Small prob but it came up every game.

Camera shots could definetly be better. There is no zoom out to view the whole battle field even in the map mode. For some reason you can only turn the map in game with the stick. Left or right. So what happend to up and down? Would have been nice to look around the whole map.

The story is ok. Little campy sometimes. It is what it is. Tiny load times when they read off the text. Graphics could have been a bit better when you zoomed in for combat. Hero type units would have been nice. Again. mostly small probs and the game was fun. Took a few days to beat.

All in all a pretty good game. Id like to see another one. Maybe spaced based or hold your breath, Starcraft anyone? :-) I havent hit multi play yet but it should make for good gaming.

I was all hyped for this one. PSP needed an Adavance Wars clone. When I played it I was sad. It's not fun. The game is full of small annoyances that add up to me not disliking it.

• The lack of interesting story.
• The micro-load times whenever characters speak or units attack.
• The bad enemy A.I.
• The disjointed online system.

I love turn based strategy. Hell, I am playing MGS AC!D 2 right now but this game has no personality. I now see that the zany colorful graphics in a turn based game can add a lot of flavor. These graphics are bland. The innovative multiplayer is its only saving grace. With pass the PSP, AD hoc, and Infrastructure, this game gives you the multiplayer goodies. Plus it's the only way to play against a good opponent. Get this game if you like multiplayer.

First off I want to say I have played this game for about four hours so it is a partial review. For those who don't know what this game is about, it is a turn based strategy, a mix between Command&Conquer and Fire Emblem.

The graphics are very nice, bit not really the selling point for this game. Map Textures are very nicely done as well as character models. Compared to Fire Emblem on the Nintendo DS they are astonishing, and very well done for the PSPs' power.

The gameplay is very interesting so far, and I'm sure is only going to get more advanced as well as exciting while campaign missions progress. The Units are nicely varied and are very fun to expierement with different combinations of moves and strategies. Maps are very cool so far with desert, forest, snow maps. Also you can control land units, air units, and water units all with their own unique gameplay, for example submarines can sumerge thus disapper out of field of view. There is too much to list here as this game has a very good amount of depth. The controls are very easy to learn and very nicely done, no problems at all.

Sound is well done with varying explosions, different units all make differnt moving sounds, for example a tank that has treads makes the noise of treads, a truck with tires makes the noise of tires over ground, etc. Nice soundtrack as well, it might eventually get on my nerves after hours of gameplay, but thats what the old mp3 is for

It contains Multiplayer Ad-hoc, Infastructure, and one where you use one PSP and hand it off to a friend, these are all limited to two players. I have not extensively played these modes so I won't review.

This game contains a map editor plus many unlockables, Overall I am very impressed, Only thing I can see wrong with this game so far is sometimes it will lag while scanning the map(could just be my PSP). If you will excuse me I have to go play Field Commander right now because it is highly addictive.

Fun game! A copy of Advance Wars. Nothing innovative in single player. Multi-player modes are awesome and diverse. Map-making capabilities, and the ability to upload and download home-made maps.

Biggest flaw is quitters online. AI is inconsistent.
