You can get this for 70$ which is cheaper than two 1 GB memory sticks. Can hold LOTS of things.

This is a great little piece of plastic and silicon. With this Memory Stick you can hundreds of songs and hours of video. Plus, Mac OS X can see it just fine! I got a great deal on it in an eBay auction for $41 dollars plus $9 shipping from China. It took two weeks to get here, but I can say it was worth the wait.

The first thing I did when I received this memory stick (after adding the included adapter to my growing pile of them) was to put it in the PSP and plug into my Powerbook. With the strange problem I had with the laptop not seeing the 4GB stick I was worried that it would have trouble with this one as well. There were no problems at all. I quickly restored my game saves to it and put on some songs, movies, and photos to boot. This will replace my 1GB stick as my standard everyday one.

My music files are quite large. I use 256 kbps AAC files for better sound quality, so the files run about 2 megs per minute of music. With a stick this size that is still quite a lot of music to take along day to day. It would be nice if Sony would add support for the Apple Lossless format (or any other lossless compression) so we could get true CD quality sound, but I won’t hold my breath on that one. If they do it, this stick would be great to have around for those massive song files.

My movies are also quite large, but with this memory stick I can carry hours of high quality movie files. My copy of Saving Private Ryan won’t fit on a 1GB stick but this one leaves room to spare.

This stick will also hold hundreds of photos. I like taking photos with my Sony camera and then putting the stick straight into the PSP for viewing on its nice screen.

I did some speed tests to see how its transfer speeds were. It is pretty fast. I transferred my standard test folder over three times and it took about 1 minute and 45 seconds to copy over the 437 Meg folder. That is the same speed I get from my 1GB sticks and fifteen seconds FASTER than I get with Sony’s High Speed 4GB stick. I don’t know how long it would take to fill it though, because when I do a normal sync I just start it and go do something else until it finishes. I can’t imagine that anyone would be disappointed in the nice speed of this stick.

This is a very nice Memory Stick. It’s reasonably quick. It works with any device that uses the Memory Stick Pro Duo stick. It’s not very expensive, especially if you can get a good deal on eBay. I highly recommend it.

First off I'd like o say that ever since I got the 2gig stick I've had alot more fun with my PSP I was able to cram a massive 1023 songs on it and about 10 hours worth of movies. I could have fit more but I didn't want to sacrifice any more quality than I already had. The transfer times are quick. If you are a media mogul this is the card for you if you don't have enough money for the 4gig.

Finally I can tell those with the Shuffle and the Nano that I have as much or even more memory than them in my PSP as they do in their Apples! Not to mention the many other uses for the PSP that are non-existent in the iPod. The 2GB is great for everything from music to movies to photos, and is the perfect companion for the PSP. I utilize the many features of the PSP and have already run out of space on my 512mb, so this is awesome.

Of course you get the great memory and performance that you receive with any sandisk product. I also received the memory stick adaptor with my purchase so I can utilize this and my other pro duo's in my cameras and other great Sony products.
