While I found the volume suitable, and the retractable cord added some organization to the process of listening to music, these really aren't the best PSP headphones. These Intecs have little holes on the outside, which I assume are to help with the bass, but I really can't seem to distinguish the difference between when I cover the holes up and don't.The cord is pretty short (only long enough to go exactly from my pocket to my ears, and I'm only about 5' 2" . They are just silver-plated, somewhat generic headphones. The quality is comparable to headphones from the Dollar Store.

Looks
These aren't breakthrough fashion items, but at least you can actually be seen in public wearing them. The cord is retractable, so you can carry your PSP in your pocket and not have the headphones dangling down to the ground (*cough* Sony headphones *cough*) but the real issue is if they're long enough. Some of you tall guys might actually have to stoop down to have these stay in your ears. Intec is printed in a "bubble" thing in the middle of the plastic thing that is the center of the retractable cords. Unfortunatly, it isn't squishy (the only thing I like about bubble type designs).

I got the black version that was included with the Pro Gamers Kit for the PSP. The sound quality that it produces is quite rough, I'd prefer to get a more trusted brand.

I love retractable cables: USB, headphones, chargers.. whatever... fantastic. The idea that I could have nifty earphones that sucked in excess cable was too much to resist.

They fell apart on the third week of use. End of story.

Another pair of ear phones. Its a little tricky at first and it can bring out some frustration when putting it away. But it saves a lot of room/space because all the wires reel up in this little wheel piece.

I got these in a pack that came with a car adapter and a screen protector. (I bought the pack for the screen protector, which ended up sucking really bad.) However, I am glad I bought the pack, as these head phones are pretty cool.

The ones I got were black (contrary to some of the comments). The main draw to these is obviously the retractable cords. This is really convenient - when it works. Any of you who have dealt with this "new" retractable technology know that it is pretty sketchy. Sometimes when they retract, there will still be 2-4 inches of cable exposed on one side or the other. Other times there is none.

I suppose having 4 inches of cable exposed is better than regular headphones though.

The sound quality is decent, not great. Lets just says it's better than the in-ear headphones that come with the PSP, but not a lot better.

All-in-all these probably aren't worth more than $10, if that. Maybe if they isolated sound better, or were a bit more comfortable, I could give them a stronger recommendation.

Mainly just plain ear buds with a roll up feature.

• Sound good
• Compact
• Roll up feature
• No Remote

Everything in the Intec package sucked, but moslty the screen protector and these horrible earphones that never retracted once. The last reviewer said that it sounded better than the in-pack Sony headphones and he was wrong, IMO. I recommend the 20 dollar Koss deep bass in-ear headphones. I compared those with the 55 dollars Sony Fontanas and they blew the Sony ones way out of the water.

First let me say that Intec makes okay products. This piece is about the only that I truly like from Intec. The ability to retract and expand the once pesky little wire coming from the output to the user's ears is genius. I won't give sole credit to Intec for creating this little device, but I will say that it sure is a great, if not the greatest way to have earphones.

The portability of this product is amazing. I love the way that they can just extend and then with the pull of the cord retract like a yo-yo. This allows the user to keep them plugged in and ready to go at all times.

I will say this though, the overall quality of the sound is not as great as that of the ones that came with the PSP, but for me they worked great. They also were a lot more comfortable. I am not big on sound, nor was I ever. One other note. The little Intec symbol on the side can be removed. Maybe someone could find a 3D sticker that could replace it. Maybe a PSP emblem... that would be awesome.

4/5 for overall use, quality, and style.
