Pretty good sound out of them, but has a little hum on some UMDs. Better then most speakers. The JBLs are the best if you are willing to pay $130 otherwise one of the best out of the price range. Also, these look bigger than they are.

Although it does not pump out uber bass (see: Logitech 2.1 subwoofers), the system itself still has moderate sound quality considering the size of the speaker units. I trust the sound quality on this is better than the playgear amp, but don't take my word for it.

After reading tons of reviews, the Logic 3 outperformed the PG Amp in the sound catagory through every source, which ultimately decided which side I should lean towards.

The Logic 3 does however have noise distortion when you adjust the PSP to half/less than half volume level, and turn the volume up via the main unit.

It also serves as a docking cradle in which you can recharge your PSP from, all through one plug. The 3D sound effect spreads your sound across a room, but reduces bass at lower levels at the same time. It's a great extra feature that has been added in an already exceptional speaker system for the PSP.

Pros
Charge while listening, great bass, subwoofer is a plus, matches well with the PSP console, great attention to detail.

Cons
No remote. I kind of wish there was more of a "thump" coming from the subwoofer at times, but hey, it's a portable.

I tried about 3 other sound systems and kept taking them back citing crapness of product. Finally I have plumped for the slightly more expensive Logic 3 sound system for PSP.

The overall look of the product is excellent and the speaker quality (afterall that's what counts) is awesome. I have had this beauty pumped to the max with ridge racer and burnout tracks and there has been no distortion. The unit also has a 2.1 surround sound activator which works pretty well, but this does seem to distort loud playback slightly.

The PSP docks very well with the sound system and the PSP will charge while it is docked, using the power source from the sound system. My only criticism is that the fit is so snug that it is very difficult to switch the power switch of the PSP while it is docked. The subwoofer is the real cruncher, giving real bass sound that actually vibrates the surface at times.

Although not designed to be used playing games while docked, it is possible. But the system comes with a cable to connect your PSP to the system while playing games, so that you can have console in one hand and blasting sounds at the same time.

The unit comes into it's own while watching movies. Pop in a UMD movie and you have yourself one great mobile cinema. The 2.1 surround sound really adds depth here. And if you want to take it away from the mains, no probs. Pop in 4 AA batteries and the sound system will easily outlast the battery on the PSP. True portability (as my 4 year old son has demonstrated on long car journey's).

To round it off the system comes with a neat bag that also has space for holding the PSP, so you can keep both items together.

If you're thinking of getting a sound system, you won't be disappointed with this.

At first you look at the box and think, how much and then blimey that would be big.

Open the box and its actually very neat and well made, folds up into a flat carry case that even allows you to fit your PSP in the front, you can either slip your PSP into the docking station that acts as a charger and a display stand, or you can simply just connect to it remotely with a lead, which is plenty long enough for amazing game play.

Turn it on, and you will truly be amazed at how such a small speaker stand can output such a HUGE BASS and LOUD sound, better than my actually stereo itself. You can really crank it up and if that's not enough there is the added bonus of a Super surround sound Loudness button, which kind off gives a wider fuller and even louder sound. The batteries last forever and you even get a nice AC adapter.

BRILLIANT!

Honestly I was just blown away by the sound quality!

Pros
• Amazing sound
• Looks really sharp
• Perfect air foam case
• Very well made

Cons
• The stand that holds the PSP comes free a little too easily.
• No charging on this (honestly not that big of a deal - I can plug in my PSP while it's in the stand)

Overall I am very very happy with this purchase. I would have given it 100 if the stand would "click" into the speaker base, so it didn't come out so easily and if the charging was built into it. But the sound quality and other nice features make this a winner for me.
