This is a great anime film. Set in post-war Japan, Blood is about a vampire that's obviously many decades old, but with the body of a teenage girl. Hints in the film imply that she's the last "real" vampire and that she's been somehow coerced into working with nameless American operatives to hunt down "fake" vampires called teropterids. Stylistically, the film is much more like a horror film than the usual chirpy action-comedy. Very enjoyable.
