The Arkon Multi-Directional Mount is a great value. For about $40 (with shipping) you get a stand that has an adjustable vise that can fit a PSP, an iPod (mini or standard) or a PDA. The stand comes in two pieces, so you can place the cradle inside the glovebox when you leave the car.

The stand itself is made out of sturdy black plastic with two ratcheting joints (meaning it holds whatever position you place it in). At the end of the stand is a head-and-slide mechanism where the cradle attaches with a ball and socket joint, allowing the cradle to be rotated to the perfect viewing angle.

The suction cup at the bottom is huge and uses a sturdy lever to squeeze the air out providing a solid foothold on glass. The PSP is similarly secure in the cradle which is padded with black foam-rubber and can be adjusted to ensure a snug fit.

In fact, my only gripe was when I received my order, they had sent me the wrong cradle. After an e-mail explaining what had happened (which was responded to almost immediately), I received a very professional response and a new part was on its way via priority mail.

Bottom line: A professional company selling a well-designed product.

I combine this mount with Arkon's Soundfeeder and listen to my PSP's mp3s on my car stereo. This combination is unbeatable and is the perfect solution for listening to your music in the car.

Although music is fun and all, there's nothing quite like watching a movie in the car. These mounts are adjustable so you can set it up perfect for watching a movie when you're on a trip.

The clamps are nicely padded and dont hurt the PSP. They keep it tight and secure too. The suction cup system works great as well (these things are very sturdy). Even with the PSP in it, you can access the headphone jack and power jack so you can charge your PSP. Like I said before, I combine mine with the Soundfeeder, which plugs in the headphone jack and lets you tune any nearby radio to the PSP.

This is a great way to get a nice movie system in your car. I have this mount, and the more expensive power mount (has a built in charger, and a crappy speaker). However, I like this one better because its not as bulky, and the other one works better with PDAs.

*Keep in mind that it is unsafe, not to mention illegal in some states, to watch video and drive at the same time.*
