First off I have to say that this has to be one of my all time favorite movies, so I'm trying hard not to be biased. You will need a good set of headphones for this one as the PSP's speakers just don't do the film justice. Without headphone the sound is unrecognizable at best, with all the gun fire, yelling and whispering you will lose interest because you’re going “What did he just say??". That problem is mostly the fault of the PSP, other than that little detail I can find no other reason not to go out and pick this one up other that its length and gore.
If you didn't know, the move is in the 2 hour range, which eliminates it from everything but long car trips or flights, but they are the perfect place for this movie. The well written story is ripped from a real event and make you appreciate what the troops that much more. And about the gore, if you can’t handle getting a shot then you’re not ready to watch people getting shot. There are some truly gruesome scenes, like the Delta guy who has half off his body blown off by a rocket or a surgery scene to clamp a Rangers cut femoral artery. All that aside this is truly a work a of film genius that works fantastic on the PSP's widescreen, and the movie tells the story without making the Rangers or Somalis seam like the bad guys. Two thumbs way up.
