I think that is game is probably the best game out for PSP as of now. I give this rating because:

• Amazing graphics. They are so real. At times they are glitchy but for the most part they look beautiful.

• The sound is realistic too. The cars and the shooting are good.

I think that is game is amazing. I know I have said that a lot, but I really think that. I think that the overall replay is fun. You beat it and just play it again the levels never get old. GOOD JOB EA

Burnout is a PSP system seller but Pursuit Force does one better by letting you get behind the controls of different vehicles. The Eeuro version is simply Master Difficulty at default. Wow. The first and second stages seem pretty normal, but then the third stage is brutal. This kind of difficulty progression will be a major turn off to many casual gamers. So be warned, wait for the U.S. version.

This fun through and through, with exceptional control making this a great, no, make that a classic title.

Gameplay - 90: Feels incredibly similar to Burnout.
Music - 79: Could use a bit more work.
Sound - 78: Good but nothing amazing.
Fun Factor - 79: Very hard so that lowers it a bit.
Control - 93: Surprisingly smooth and responsive.
Originality - 83: Basically a gimmick Burnout but still very good
Depth - 89: Depending on your skill level might be too hard.
Overall - 88: Not an average.

The game has so much potential but hell it's tough, to the point of blind frustration. For each mission, you get rankings of A, B, C, etc depending on how well you do. How do you improve your score? I have no idea. The manual doesn't tell you.

As you complete each mission, others become available. They vary from ridiculously easy to ridiculously hard. There's one level I'm stuck on which like some others is split into three parts. First you have to tail some cars for about 2 minutes, then fight it out, chase them some more, get on a boat and chase some more. Sounds great, but when you keep getting killed right at the end, to start the mission again is REALLY tedious.

I heard somewhere that a newer version was been brought out because the original was too tough. Maybe I got the early version? Also the cars handle really strangely. The AI cars hug the bends as if they're on rails where as the only way you can go around 90 degree turns is to slam into the sides!

Dissappointing.

It is such an amazing game.

Playability
The controls are easy to pick up and you'll soon be racing around those bends in no time. The game will get you hooked even before you've switched your PSP on.

Load times
For a good game I wouldn't mind how fast it loads as long as it has a good story and drags me in. This loads at a reasonable pace and gets into it pretty fast.

Graphics
Everybody wants good graphics and this game is a specialist at them. The cars look real and shine when you drive them before the sun. This does not mean you have to wear sunglasses whilst playing the game.

Sound
The sound is good but it won't bowl you over, it is clear and it is loud, just how good music on a good game should be.

Overall value
Finally we come to whether it's gonna be worth spending your pocket money on and the answer is yes. All of the above is brilliant, just how a game should be.
