These are the best headphones I have used in my LIFE and I had many headphones.

The sound quality from these headphones are great. Above average. Way above average. This will make your music sound better. I heard sounds in songs and games which I never heard before. You get great bass and less ambient noise. Plus the earcups block off the sound outside of your headphones.

But, there are only two sizes of earcups. When you take out the smaller ones, which are already on the headphone, they are hard to get back on. They are also weak and don't stretch. Also the headphones use the jack next to the headphones so you can't use the PSP controller with these headphones. The earcups are pretty comfortable, but most of the time, they won't stay on your ears! It is
really annoying. When you have your headphones in your PSP and, when you turn your PSP on, you will hear a loud pop. Also when you put headphones in your ears, you will hear annoying sounds. The earphones can take out your earwax too so you got to keep cleaning it. You should also clean your ears too.

All in all these headphones are still great if you can figure out a method to keep your headphones in your ears.

These earphones produce great sound quality and they give what they are said to do. In fact the sound is better than that of the Sony MDR-J20 h.

The sound's great, well only when they're in your ears. So that's why I chose to modify mine. I had a broken pair of the Sony MDRJ10L earphones around and I just cut the clips from them and taped them onto the earsubs. I'm planning to glue it on later but it's working out great right now.

First I would like to say that I have tried MANY different phones for my PSP/ipod and this spans the range from the PSP included headphones to Shure and Senheiser.

The sound quality here is way above average. Highs are crisp and lows are rich. Of course the reason you would be looking here is the amplified sub woofers. Ths bass really reflects the company name. You WILL feel your head thump while playing bass intensive games like Wipeout Pure and explosions in games and movies really sound richer and deeper. Some will not like the "in ear" design or may find it uncomfortable, but there is a method to this madness. The earcups provide a noise isolating effect. Outside noise doesnt get into these...even a jet engine on a flight becomes a low hum.

The negative? Well there seem to be some anomolies when the PSP is turned on, a one time pop may be heard. This is the amp being powered up, a little annoying but not bad. And the problem most people may have is that because these are "powered" headphones that power has to come from somewhere. The universal version of these has an external battery pack. These take their power from the PSP through the control jack right next to the headphone jack. This means that you can't use the PSP remote with these unless you get the uni version, and those cost 10 bucks more.

With the only downsides being a small auditory pop and lack of remote function and maybe the whole "in ear" thing, these are by far the best I have ever used for my PSP or anything else, hands down.

They totaly rock, my music sounds better. I notice little things in songs that I didn't hear with my Sony Studio Monitor headphones. It has great bass response, more bass then I have ever heard in a headphone. Once I turned the volume up all the way I could feel them rattle from the bass. They have one minor flaw. It might not fit well in your ears. It took awhile for me to figure out that you need to just jam them in your ear (pulling the top of the ear upwards helps) and you need to clean your ears daily. They stay in beter with clean ears and it's just healthy. Overall, I would say get them. People with extremly small ears won't fit.

Well, I bought these headphones after my Roomba thought it'd be funny to eat my old PSP headphones(It didn't think it was funny after I threw it against the wall, however). In order to save up, I had to go five days without lunch so I could save the $21.56 (tax included) to buy them. Was it worth starving myself for five days? I think so.

The moment I put them in, I fell in love. I heard sounds in my music I never heard before! It made me feel just like I was there in movies! I rarely use them for games though. After a couple weeks of wear and tear, the inconvienences start coming out. First, they feel slightly uncomfortable and feel like they're going to fall out. This I got used to, but when they do fall out, it's very random, and very annoying. Also, since they use the remote port next to the headphone jack also, there's no place for remotes! Not good for those of you who like to put your PSP in your backpack and such.

Pros
• Excellent sound quality
• Nice cord length compared to the boxed- in ones
• Brings out a lot of the sound in your music, videos, games, etc.
• PSP only

Cons
• Uncomfortable
• Fall out or your ears a lot
• No place for remotes!
• PSP only

Looking at the box, I thought these things looked cheap and were a waste of money. Taking a look at the back showed a graph of how they compared to other headphones, it kind of made me want to buy them. Purchasing them ( $29.99 ), I tried them out. The first thing I noticed is that the audio jack it uses is made only for the PSP (Possibly getting power from PSP). The company recommends that you do not use the equalizer from the PSP because it could damage the headphones. The sound difference between the Sony PSP headphones and these are quite noticeable. You do get better bass and less ambient noise. Lastly, the way they stay on your ears make them feel like suction cups. I do recommend these if you like bass, but you do sacrifice use of the PSP controller and these headphones are only for the PSP.

Pros
• Improved Bass
• Matches PSP’s black exterior
• Reduces ambient noise
• Cheap Price
Cons
• No use of the PSP’s Controller
• PSP Only
• Only two types of Rubber Tips
• E.Q. can damage headphones
• You get electrical interference from the PSP
