Got this in my local gamestore the other day in an accessories kit that also included a screen protector, usb cable, two umd covers, wet and dry screen wipes and screen buffer for only 10 GBP. It's a basic charger which is very sleek and I would highly recommend it instead of an expensive charging cradle.

The PSP docking station lets you keep your PSP on the desktop for easy access, plus it charges the PSP in less than 2 hours (via USB cord supplied)
The cradle itself is made of a smoked plastic and in the middle there is an LED indicator which stays on all the time. I would think it would have been better if it just came on when the unit is fully charged, but still not a real big problem.
The PSP Docking station is ideal for the home or office. It holds the PSP at a very nice viewing angle for watching movies. The PSP itself fits snug enough so it should not fall out. Of course, serious bumps would make it fall, but for the average person I don't see this being any problem.
The one area it does come up short is that when the PSP sits in the docking station there is no access to the speaker plug. Or hence, the ability to plug different speakers up to the unit. It would have been nice if they had provided a little cutout at that point so that one could access the plug. Yes, you can make one yourself, but I feel it is something they should have done.
Overall, a good product, at a very affordable cost.

While this is an amazing value and will charge the PSP while docked (most the cradles do anyways), it lacks a space for any kind of audio output device to be inserted. Whether it be headphones, portable speakers, or some other device.
Not too bad for the office or sneaking a movie in during class. I had to drill a hole in mine so I could plug my headphones in. It does come with a USB to PSP charger cable so you can have the stand plugged into your computer and charge it from there. There are better cradles out there, so this is recommended only if your short on cash.

It comes with a USB -> power cable. Plug it into your computer and it charges the PSP, like an iPod and Firewire. I really wish Sony put the USB connetion at the base of the unit now. This would've been cool to dock, recharge and mount to your computer (again, a la iPod). Oh well.
The stand itself is nice. The PSP does just sit there, it doesn't "click" into the base. But, like others have said, it's stable enough. I like that it keeps the PSP from lying face up on my desk. This way, I am less likely to drop something on it, or scratch the screen.
The white light is neat, I guess. The stand is semi-opaque where the light is, so not only do you see the light emintating from the bulb, but you also see the bulb. I guess if I have to nitpick about something so small, then the overall product is pretty good, especially for only $12.
