Feeling the need to put music and other media on my PSP (and at the time being still new to the process of doing so) I went out and bought this package and so far it has yet to let me down.

Almost idiot proof in its simplicity, none of the media files get scrambled together as each has its own tab that it falls under for the specific files you want to put on your PSP. Recently I discovered (practically by accident actucally) that the updated version expands the features even more by allowing you to create folders within your PSP to store files in very specific orders. Not to mention you can resize pictures to fit the screen, convert video formats (though I havn't tried it yet) and even download save game files right onto your stick.

In all, there are probably fancier programs that do all this and give you a message and a tan at the same time, but if you want to keep it simple, this is the way to go.

(note: Havn't really used the disk that goes for the PS2, didn't quite understand how to use it to be honest so I can't say a whole lot about it.)

This is a decent product for the price, at just under $20 Canadian at most major retailers. It comes with a USB cable and a mini-disc, which comes with some media managing software or something that I'll never use and so I don't know anything about it.

That being said, the USB cable itself works great, instantly hooking up to Macs or even PCs. Not only can you transfer files to your Memory Stick (Pro) Duo, you can also transfer files FROM it, which I've been using to back up my gamesaves. As someone who has always been more protective of his memory cards than his games/system, I can tell you that this is a great feature. Could you get that in any USB cable? Probably. But this is the one I got.

I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't got a USB cable yet. If you have a PSP and a computer, you should let them communicate.

I'm pretty good when it comes to tech and PCs, so I was a bit hesitant to purchace a USB cable for that much, but (at the time) since there was a lack of PSP accessories, I thought I'd go ahead and spend the money. First and foremost, the USB cable itself is pretty tough. I've accidentally ran over it with my chair a couple times and it still works. It's nothing special, but it's still the main part of the whole package.

The cable includes 2 mini-CDs. One for PC and the other for PS2. The PC version is a simple all-in-one video encoder/file transfer/save backup. If you're already familer with using seperate programs like PSP Video 9 and such, this probably won't convince you to switch, but it's simple enough for thoses who can feel a bit intimidated with other complicated programs.

The PS2 disk is the real deal of the package though. It offers you to back up your PS2 save files (by connecting the USB cable to one of the two USB ports) onto your PSP mem stick, which then you can transfer to PC. It also allows you to "crush" saves together to save space on your mem card.

One thing I noticed, however was that these saves were in a .max filetype. Datels Max Drive (device that lets you transfer PS2-2-PC gamesaves) also save as .max. All you need to do is visit a site like codejunkies, or gamefaqs, download a .max save file onto your PSP, then transfer and "uncrush" the save. So now you have your own Max Drive for just $15 bucks.

The only issue I've ever had was while I was accessing my PS2 memory card (deleting a file), the game had frozen and I had to reboot, which then corrupted my PS2 mem card, rendering it useless. Thankfully it was a back up card, and all my files were backed up on PC, but nonetheless -- USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

This has a good USB cable but the software is a waste of money. It doesn't really do anything. I didn't buy this I got it as a present from a friend so if you plan on buying it, don't. Just buy a USB cable for your PSP.

Before I got this I could not get any of my MP3s on the PSP. Then I installed this software and it was easy as ever. I have 35 songs, 4 vids and 85 pics on my PSP now. It made it easy and quick. Great product.

I bought this for the cable, it costs an average of $5 more than a normal cable but I was desperate to get a cable and this was the only one I could find from Gamestop. I have to compliment the software, it is clean and easy to use, any idiot could use it. But for everyone else, just do it manually.
