Terminator 2 is the greatsest movie of all time and they blew it by not putting in any deleted scenes or bonus features. It didn't even come with chapter selection. That's ridiculous. But I still love the movie.

Everybody already knows this movie is fantastic. I'm going to comment on the Simulated Dolby 5.1headphone track on the disc.
When using the 5.1 mix as opposed to the stereo mix you do get 4 distinct channels simulated. There is definitely a front and rear sound stage as well as the left/right channels. Dialogue is particularly well-seperated from the rest of the channels. Unfortunately while using this mix a lot of the "oomph" from gunshots and explosions is really stripped. It's a shame because this movie really is better when it's loud. Hopefully the sound engineers will continue improving the idea of a simulated 5.1 headphone track for future releases.

I was walking through Wal-Mart's electronics division today, just looking for a good movie to buy. I was going through the UMD-Video's when I found this treasure. Here is my review of Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
Terminator 2 is the second installment in the classic Sci-Fi franchise that began in 1984 with the release of "The Terminator". Despite being a low budget film, it grossed a huge sum of money and gained a dedicated fanbase. Terminator 2 was released in theatres in 1991. A 3-D Universal Adventure version followed in 1996. It has seen numerous re-releases on VHS and DVD-Video. Now, it is in the palm of your hands with the PSP.
The UMD Video format has officially proven itself in my mind. It looks just as great as the T2 DVD Video released a year or so ago, if not better. The visuals are crisp and sharp, showing great care was taken during compression. Very good looking film.
Like the video, the audio is very high-quality. I haven't listened to the Dobly-Headphone Track, but it seems like it would improve on the already wonderful sound. Excellent audio compression, no complaints.
UMD discs have a max capacity of 1.8 gigabytes, so there isn't much space left after the movie is pressed. It has English vocals only, but it does have English and Spanish subtitles. It has a scene-selection feature (thank God) and a very well designed menu layout. It also has a list of upcoming UMD-Video titles.
Overall, the T2 UMD has erased my fears about the format. It's a great film, a timeless classic, and its a great on-the-go movie, due to its non-stop action. I would recommend this to anyone who likes action or Sci-Fi movies.
Pros: Excellent video and audio quality, streamlined menu, great on-the-go film
Cons: Some commentary would have been a nice replacement for the Spanish subtitles

I remember when I was 5 years old, it was my favorite SciFi/Action movie ever! And it still is! I was far too happy when I saw it on sale! The overall quality of the movie is even better than when I saw it on my TV. This movie contains thrills, humour and eye poping Sci-Fi! Some films never die! Brilliant movie for anyone who likes SciFi/Action movies and outstanding-muscle-man Arnold Schwarzenegger! Also the movie has a lot of other great actors like Linda Hamilton, Robert Patrick. Don't think, just BUY IT,it's not a waste of money.
