Good game. The career is long but gets very hard. There is a large choice of cars, which become unlockable throughtout. The mulitplayer is fun, but you will get thrashed if you dont have a quick car. One annoying point is when you are doing races in career and you are about to win and a police car hits you and you lose. And because its hard it get annoying easliy and you dont wanna play it for a while. but when you do play it and have fun its a great game. If you have a ps2, and are thinking of getting it on PSP or ps2, definatly get it on ps2, its alot better game. If you dont have a ps2, get this game soon!

This game is pretty good for what it is -- a mini version of a great console game. The graphics are good - 7/10, and the gameplay is good - 7/10, but the online racing is great - 9/10. The load times are decent, not too long like other games.

The game is ok but is missing so much. There are no cutscenes like the one on PS2 where it shows the story. Also, this game has 18 cars whereas the PS2 version has 32 cars. All I can say is that this is a real bad game compared to the PS2 version.

Once again EA has released another great Need For Speed game. This one is a mixture of Need For Speed Underground and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2. It has great cars and upgrades. Also has a great online gaming!

I got this game and a PSP for Christmas. At first I was like 'ooh look it's so pretty and shiny,' then I actually started playing the game. This game is horrible. EA seriously continues its bad streak by owning the world of game dev and ruining it once again.

Problems
• No difficulty setting, it puts you in races with drivers and cars that are much better than you towards the middle of the game, making time trials close to impossible.
• Computer controlled cops have magic powers, as with all EA games, the AI is horrendously retarded.
• Can we say clipping? While at first the game may seem visually appealing, that wears off quickly once you hit a wall at the entrance to a tunnel you clip straight through resetting the car and making you lose like 10 seconds (yes literally).
• Gravity? Anyone? Anyone? Even with a fully upgraded vehicle you can not manage to stick to the road. Although when you're going close to 200 miles an hour your tires would disappear, but it's a video game.
• Soundtrack - lets be lazy and port it from the regular most wanted game. I didn't like it on the other games and I don't like it in this game.

In conclusion, it really was a fun game at the begining. They give you all this crap to mod your cars and you're like, awesome, my ride is totally sick YO! But after the soundtrack plays like ten times over and the game starts bugging out on you, it's not worth the frustration. Don't buy it.

This game is so good and it appears easy at first but becomes very chalenging. The upgrades are great and you can also become a cop. I haven't passed it yet but I'm working on it and its not difficult to master at all. The controls are great and the sounds are great too. The only think that I found annoying is that the cops are mainly after you but occasionally they go after the other racers. Other than that this game is great and I recomend it to evryone that likes racing games.

Don't expect the exact same game in the PS2 version. This game is great. The graphics are great, sound is great and controls are easy to get used to. When playing, you can hear the pumping tracks, but not only the usual engine and crashing sounds, you can also hear the cops radio in the background! It makes things sound sooo much more realistic. One thing I realised about is that there aren't many cut-scenes and no main storyline. But at least it gets to the point. And I love unloking stuff. One great thing is the speedbreaker, all you do is press the down arrow and you're completely in slow motion, like in the Matrix or sumthin. NFS:MW is definitely one to buy. This is surely a game you can play over and over again, espcially if you love soupin' up your rides.

Just to make this clear, don't expect this game to be exactly like the PC/console version. Need for Speed 5-1-0 is a dumbed down version of its big brother.

This wouldn't necessarity be a bad thing. The simplicity of the game allows you to pick it up and play a quick race or two. The audio and graphics are great, the controls are decent, and the ability to customize is addicting. There is no free roaming but all the race types are built for a fixed track. The first few "chapters" as they are called in career mode are easy and they allow you to get the hang of your car and some of the courses. Make sure you find all of the shortcuts and always do the police outrun bonus. At this point, I would consider this a good game but there are several things about the game that take away from the overall experience.

The police barriers are simply a few police cars with yellow fences around them. They're pretty easy to avoid as long as you see them in advance. If you happen to hit one, its like hitting a brick wall. It hardly budges and you end up maneuvering around them. I use them to lose police and opponents by "luring" them into it. This works well early on but doesn't later in the game for reasons listed below.

NOS needs an upgrade. Upgrading your NOS only seems to lengthen its duration. The actual boost you get is barely noticable. The only time I use it is to avoid being rammed by police.

The Super Police. This is the biggest annoyance of the game. Forget the opponents, all I'm worried about whenever I race is to avoid being rammed by the police. I save my NOS for the police. If they get near me, I'll use my NOS to get ahead. Unfortunately, the police catch up in a second and you have to constantly use your NOS to avoid being rammed off the road. The best way to lose police is to lure them into police barracades or other cars. Practice near misses with cars and barracades as they have a higher likelyhood of crashing into them. Now, you'd expect that they're out of comission or far behind you when they crash, but they manage to catch up with you in a few seconds. Police have super acceleration, super handling, and weigh as much as a tank. If a police wants you off the road, it will get you off the road which is why the only thing you can do is hope it crashes or you use NOS. And nevermind that you're in 4th place. The police will pester you regardless of your position.

Just got the new NFS - Most Wanted for PSP. What can I say, I am a fan of the series (not a big one, but a fan) so I was excited to know that I was one of the first to play the game in my community.

Graphics
The graphics are great, much better that any other racing game. They beat the hell out of Wipeout Pure. Too bad that the damage factor kinda sucks. You can barely tell that the damage affecs your car. Bonus points for the high-speed view and the NOS view which are both very nice.

Sound
Great soundtracks, as always by EA. Also the in-game sound are pretty good, a minus for the cops radio that is a bit low.

Control
Not so reallistic, but good. You get used to it very fast.

Replay Value
For those that like raceing games, Unlimited. Also has posibility of online play etc.

Overall
A great game, a MUST HAVE.

You can't adjust game trax while playing (as in Midnite Club Dubz) and I don't like the fact that there are few tracks (same tracks forward and backward). Action is great, play is good, but all in all Midnite Club is WAYYYYY better.

Decided I needed a racing game with good multiplayer, good for short playing sessions and it had to be nothing like the atrocious F1. So I took home Ridge Racer, Need for Speed 5-1-0 and Burnout Legends.

Ridge Racer was the first to get popped in, and whilst true to the arcade, and the original, adds nothing to the party, whilst suffering the usual PSP negatives of control and accuracy. Next in the Slot, Burnout Legends. Wow, it's Burnout 3 on the PSP. Crashes, smashes and BOOooosst! Seemed easier to control after Ridge Racer, bored with racing, crash things, bored with crashing, wipe them out.

Final contender in the slot, Need for speed. Now, it's much quicker than RR, and arguably prettier than BOL, but it's a bit of a let down. The pursuit modes are hard to shake off, and whilst upgrading the cars is fun, it pales in comparison with the whole new cards that burnout was dishing out.

In short if you need a racing game get Burnout, if you've completed Burnout, then trade it in for this.
