Every screen protector up to this point has focused on protecting just the screen. This is of course the most vital area of the PSP, but what about the rest of the face? Worried about scratches and constant smudging? Brando has your solution with its PSP Body Screen Protector.

Okay I've tried all those other Screen Protectors out there and I have to say that the Brando Utlra Clear Screen Protector has to the be the Best one I've used so far. There's no destortion, no blurryness, These guys know what to put on a PSP so that it protects and doesn't hinder your Playing, Viewing picutres and watching Movie experince.
What more can you ask for besides this product that goes the extra leg to make your PSP experince as Seemless as possible. Applying the Protector to your PSP is a sinch, just takes a little time and patience and before you know it you'll be watching those movies and playing those games without the embarrsement of having a Ugly looking screen (from those other screen protectors--cough, cough Pelican). And trust me, it DOES make a difference. I'm very satisfied with this product and I highly recommend it.

Everyone talks about the full sized protector. I exchanged my PSP so I had to throw away the full sized protector. I decided to give the smaller protector a shot. It's considerably thicker than the full sized protector and less flexible. Unlike the full sized one, you can tell that its there. I can't tell if it allows less light through so that's a good thing. Because its not very flexible, you will see air bubbles where the surface of the PSP curves. If you have any dimples on the screen, you'll see those too. No matter what I did, I couldn't get rid of them but after a while, they didn't bother me. I recommend removing the analog stick before applying this or any screen protector. It makes application a lot easier around that area.

I had an awful time with this. The best application I could get with it still had a ton of air bubbles under it that I could not smooth out at all. When I did try to smooth them out it became so badly scratched up I wanted to light it on fire, curse at it, stomp on it, curse at it some more, and then throw it away. Out of frustration I went ahead and got the Javo 2.0 (WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE). It went on easily the first time perfectly. Smoothed out a few air bubbles and although the edges werent perfect I could barely even tell it was on. I guess others are having an easy time with this one, but I really feel like it was a waste of money and time for me.

I got my Brando screen protectors in the mail yesterday. took 10 days to get to Vancouver after I ordered them online.
I was dying to get them so I put them on right away. I used the big one first. the one that covers the entire front side of the PSP. They go on pretty easily and much easier than the last screen protector I used (on my old Palm - dunno what brand it was). As long as you do it in a fairly dust-free, lint-free area, you shouldn't get anything clinging to the sticky side of the sheet. The hardest part about putting them on is probably aligning it along the entire length of the PSP. mine is a bit off and around a milimeter or so is sticking out of the top right corner of the console, but I didn't bother reapplying and realigning it.
One thing everyone should be aware of is that you should not use a hard, plastic card (i.e. credit card) to run over the sheet when you're putting it on. The Brando screen protector isn't very scratch-resistant at all (although it should protect the PSP's screen itself from scratches) and after I pressed a card down across it, the thing was full of big, ugly scratches. It DOES NOT scratch the PSP's screen and the scratches on the Brando sheet are NOT visible when the PSP is turned on. Even with the huge scratches, the protector is almost invisible. But yeah, it does make the thing look freakishly ugly turned off. USE THE bottom side of the CARDBOARD in the PACKAGING that the screen protectors came with instead. They don't scratch it and do squeeze out air bubbles MUCH BETTER. I used it to squeeze out most of the small bubbles that were left after I put the whole thing on and they went away quite easily.
I think I am satisfied with the Brando screen protectors. It is as clear as everybody else says and as it's advertised. It's just too bad that I scratched the thing up while it was being applied. I won't use a credit card when putting on the smaller sheet.
After I use these two up, I dunno if I'd go for Brando again. if nothing goes wrong, I would. But I'd also like to try out the JAVOSCREEN brand which also covers up the entire front but seems to be much more scratch-resistant.

I recieved my Screen Protector in a week on the day. It was a little hard to put on straight but once I figured it out it looks great. You can hardly tell it is on. It is sort of hard to get the bubbles out of Wi-Fi symbol but I would trade that in for total protection from big scratches any day. Now I can play my PSP without having to worry if anything I am doing is scratching it. And with it coming with another smaller protector that just covers the screen it is a good buy. I gave it a 95 only because of the bubbles around the Wi-Fi symbol. It would have got a 100 easy otherwise.

I just received mine and have used Brando a long ways before the advent of the PSP. I have used their screen protectors for the PDAs I have owned over the last few years and on my most recent Sony Clie PEG-TH55. I have always been pleased with their screen protectors. THey drastically improved BOTH the feel of the screen while magically looking and functioning as if it did not exist. It took the "squishy" feel of the Clie screen and made it feel like glass due to the tight fit and stiffening of the original LCD. Truly magical. And lately they even seemed to be masters of making the application process easier.
They are - except with the PSP. This protector is a little more old-school in the way to apply it. Let me describe what I mean.
The protector I received for my Clie about two months ago had a clever dual-setup. First you remove the backing (which was clearly tabbed with a blue easy remove tab) and apply. They included a squegee card with the screen to faciliate the application and bubble removal.
Secondly, they had a secondary protective layer which you removed (via another easy remove RED tab) AFTER you applied the actual film to the screen. Meaning that the protector never had to be actually touched by you at any point. This is a fabulous way to apply the film which can then be super thin but easy to apply. and your finger grease never gets on the screen during application leaving every corner with its full adhesive. Very clever.
When I ordered this Brando PSP protector, I was hoping for the same kind of innovative, easy design. Well, on that matter I was a little dissapointed. I did manage to apply the full-body protection but it is a bit harder to align. The plastic backing can be spearted into three sections. I suggest removing the left side first, aligning with the right side, dropping the film down letting the left side stick and then remove the backing as you move across squegee-ing as you go.
Somethings like the edges, as mentioned in other reviews, do not fully seem to stick but this is passable. and for some reason, the places where the text is on the PSP (such as POWER, HOLD and the WIFI and WLAN symbol) seem to have have a bubble around them, but this is very very minimal and could actually be deemd an interesting effect.
After about three attempts at aligning, i managed to place the protector on. Now this is where this thing really shines! It is a shear perfect match to the feel and look of the PSP. It is virtually impossible for someone to tell it is on unless they look for it. It has the same tactile feel the original PSP had when I first got it. What I truly love about the protector is that although it virtually has the same luster and feel and touch of the original PSP, it is a little more resistive to the fingerprinting problem. Basically what I am saying is that, the finish is the BEST of BOTH worlds. Seems like you don't have a protector AND it is MORE FINGER-PROOF all the way across the PSP. This alone is worth what I paid (for me at least). Plus I love the effect that the screen once more integrated into the faceplate of the PSP. I can move my finger clear across the LCD to the controls and feel the "slick" no-edge feel of an LCD which is below the surface of the machine itself. Awesome. As Sony designed it this way, I figure anything which can keep this is slick "feel" is worth it and another factor in the purchase of this protector
Until now, I had the Pelican Screen Protector until I received this one and that one looks like a piece of milk carton applied on your screen conpared to this one. It had bad glare effects (you ABSOLUTELY knew you had a screen protector on it and the wide angle visibility of the LCD is greatly reduced) and it felt like a piece of sand paper on your screen. It also created a polarized effect on the collors which are shown on the screen which doesn't affect overall colors, but when I ran a pixel check, it looked like a laser hologram with the amount of refraction it seemed to create in the color. It WAS cheap but it greatly defected the slick PSP finish which everyone loves.
Overall, this lives up to the Brando screens I have used and loved. The screen is virtually indistinguishable from the original PSP finish but vastly improved in the realm of "casual" fingerprinting. And the clarity is near 99.99% of the original. It's extremely thin (enough for it to be called a "membrane" rather than a plastic film) and dissappears if applied correctly albeit with difficulty.
I recommend this fully to anyone who is serious about giving the best accessory to their PSP. And this one is everything from ESSENTIAL to PERFECT as it gets
I would give this a 110% if it had a similar application process as I have used before and if the screen laid down completely in some some miniscule corners, but other than this, this screen will remain on my PSP as the screen of choice well into the age of a PSP2.

It took 9 days for it to arrive here in California from Hong Kong and it came in a simple envelope. Luckily it wasn't damaged.
For $12 + $3 shipping you actually get 2 screen protectors. I will focus on the full front protector because thats the only one I am using.
Applying it was very frustrating for me because I already had the protector and had just got the PSP that midnight. I wanted to put it on first thing. The difficult part in applying this thing is making sure you put it on straight.
The way its cut out tells you to start from the left, where the dpad is and sweep across the screen to the buttons on the other side. The problem was that I kept putting it on at a slight angle and the protector kept interfering with either the triangle or X button when I tried to lay it down completely. so I had to pull it back up and reapply because I couldn't just pull and slide it into position. The adhesive layer on this thing really grips onto the PSP's surface.
Don't worry it doesn't leave any residue. Once it was on I noticed a few bubbles which were easily pushed off the edge of the protector with a credit card.
No degradation in quality, at least not to my eye, and you get full coverage of the front. I highly recommend this because I am now not afraid of scratching any part of the face when I push/pull it in/out of its case or wipe it with my shirt or cleaning cloth.

you need to apply this in a vaccuum to not get any dust under the protector and bubbles are a nightmare too.. I personlly wouldn't recommend it..
