Its easy as 1-2-3 to transfer files from your PC to your PSP. Its quick and it also charges your PSP.

I will say that I have had no problems at all with this product. It has given no issues with data transfer at all. I got it for $9.99, which was not a major hit to my wallet and it works at home and at work. I would definately get one to use at home if I did not already have the data only cable.

The only way that this could be better is if there was someone living near my work with "loose" WiFi so I could stream music all day.

Pros:
• It charges my PSP off my work computer.
• It does not violate my work policy of no-plugin appliances.
• It enables me to transfer secure files from my system at work to home.
• It lets me stare at a Maxium photo of Jessica Alba all day long. If only you could slideshow while you are listening to MP3's. (Extra 5 points for this.)

Cons:
• It could come in different colors, but a bit of latex flexible paint fixes that.
• The cord is a bit stiff right now. It might loosen up through use, but I am afraid that might break the wiring inside.

Works great, it will charge your PSP while allowing you to share files with your PC. My one complaint is that the cord is a little short.

An excellent piece of hardware to keep close to you when you're on the go. It's very light and easy to carry due to it's small size and it makes recharging and transferring much easier than it used to be. Going to youor aunt's house and think it's going t be boring? Take your 2-in-1 Cable and just hook it up to her computer for some much needed battery power.

It hasn't broken or done anything out of the ordinary yet so I can say it's much worth the little ammount you pay for it.

If you're looking for a simple USB that does the job, get this.

I bought this two in one cable for the unbeliveable price of 4.99 and got the last one (haven't seen it since). I use it everyday to charge my PSP via the USB port on my PS2 while I sleep or play a game. Also I use it to transfer files from my PC to the PSP (also charging the battery as I do my file management). All in all it's a must to have and carry with you as a secondary power supply/ charger. Anywhere a USB port is available, you have power.

Bought this on eBay for just a few bucks and is one of the best accessories I have gotten. I love that you can even charge while usb transfering to your pc!

It works great!! I have been able to charge it with the PS2 (both reg and slim versions) so no matter where I go I can at least keep it charged! As well as download whenever I like with a USB enabled computer. Get it and keep it on ya!

It does everything you want it to do, though the DC-IN jack doesn't seem to wanna fit very comfortably. Can't use mine anymore, sadly, because Windows XP Corporate apparently hates PSP's and doesn't recognize them.

You can charge and USB connect at the same time. What more do you want?

Ok

Excellent to leave the PSP charging overnite with the PC, not recomended for a quick charge.

The USB cable does not have enough shielding, and causes the sync to end prematurely every time.

The power option is more of a gimmick/extra than it is useful because of the low power innate in USB, but the cable gets the job done, and is cheap enough. So it's a nice 'gimmick' to have. It will cut down on a cable on long trips, provided you are near a plugged in computer/laptop.

You can charge and connect your PSP at the same time. Works perfectly. The split between the charge and connect could be longer though.

Great little thing. Charge/Download from your laptop. A must have.

It does what it promises - plain and simple, and cheap Only downside is the aprox. 3 hour charge time which is more than the standard adaptor - but a minor thing.

I got mine at BestBuy to leave at work. It is very nice not having to haul my AC Adapter back and forth. I couldn't get the power portion to work on a USB extension cable (which works fine for data transfer). I had to plug it directly into my computer, which makes it a stretch since it is only 4' long. Otherwise I have been very pleased.

This is the best USB charger around, very usefull that it's a 2-in-1.
The cord is long enough. Must have!

I first thought that Sony's first handheld would be a flop, but was I wrong or what. This thing is the best handheld ever. Nintendo is going to have to work hard to get something better than this.

This power adapter was great, it was cheap and also was able to power my 30gig Creative Zen Ultra.

The HipGear USB cable is pretty long at 8 ft, and is made specifically for the PSP. This is probably the USB cable that you should get if you dont like wasting money on the 2 in 1 USB cable. This one is white and it could extend long distances. The price is pretty cheap compared to the one i saw at Futureshop that cost ($39.99 can) and this is only (9.99 can).

Pros
• extend to long distances
• cheap
• made for the psp

Cons
• plain cable nothin else

This thing sucks. It might just be mine that is messed up, and if so, please comment telling me so. It doesn't even work! I hooked it up to my USB and nothing popped up saying "new hardware found" (which is usually does). So I didnt think a thing about it and opened "my computer" and looked for it.... wasnt there. at this point i am angry, so i slam my psp on the ground and throw my monitor on top of it! not really, but i was pretty heated.

pros: well the package says 4 things, i will tell you which are true.
High Data Rate Transfer - no
USB1 & 2 compatible - well it does fit in the usb slot but doesnt work
4 foot cord legnth - yes
product warranty 5 years - i guess

2/4 isnt very good

cons:
short cable
doesnt charge psp
did i mention it doesnt work?

I picked up the "Black" crystal sleeve cuz it matched the psp. Its easy to slip the psp into it. The sleeve makes the psp feel a little bigger so thats great for me beause i have big hands. Also it give a good grip feel to it so it wont slip out of your hands. I have also noticed thatit heeps your nasty finger prints and smuges of the psp and thats a plus. The only bad things about it is that its alittle hard to slip in umd's while its on, jsut gotta pull the back flap alittle so the cover and open the slip your umd in. Another thing is this thing stinks like chemicals when you first get it but the smell fades in like 4 days so. The sleeve itself will get covered with your finger prints so you will have to wash it down with warm water Other than that its an ok its an ok accessory.

ASHY'S TIPS: After the 4th day out of the box spray the whole thing with a perfume(a hearty serving =P) and put it back in the box for a day, it will absorb the smell. remove the sleeve every 5-7 days to rinse the sleeve with warm water to clean it

Earphones
I was disappointed to see that the earphones white cords were constructed with the same soft rubber material as my Sony MDR-EX71's. Also the cord plug is merely silver plated, not gold plated (you probably don't care). I have not broken these in yet, but I doubt it would make a difference. These earphones are comparable to other earphones in the price range (they're free). Still, being Sonys, they're only slightly better than iPod earphones. That is to say, the sound is unimpressive, however the treble is bright. Like other prepackaged earphones, the bass is faint and the mids are overemphasized. The loudness is slightly above average. The earbud size is a little too big for me; if you have big ears, you'll love it. I prefer the behind-the-neck cords, however, some Americans may be unused to the unequal cord design. The cord length is a little unusual. Because these earphones came bundled with a remote, they reduced the length from standard length (1m), however, they anticipated that PSP owners might not use remote while gaming (because it's useless for gaming), so they did not make it extremely short remote-length (0.5m). The result is that the length is perfect (for gaming)! This is why. The length is about how long it is from your hand of your outstretched arms to your ears (0.75m). If you are gaming, the cord length is not too long or too short. However, if you put the PSP inside your pocket, it is impossible to plug it in without the remote, but if you use the remote, the cord becomes ridiculously long. That's why I prefer the EX71 (other than that it sounds much better) for its 0.5m remote-friendly cord length. The air ducts I suspect are purely for aesthetics.

Remote
This is painted metallic silver, because it is made of plastic. It feels very light ( 'cheap' is what some would say). The design is very simple: there is Forward and Reverse on the top left and right of the circle, Play/Pause on the bottom of the circle, Louder and Softer volume on the right side of the face, and a Hold switch on the side of the remote. This remote is very handy if you're listening to your PSP in your pocket. The remote also doubles its functions for video which is useful if you have your PSP on Hold. Using your remote's controls does not count as using your PSP's controls, so the screen will dim and eventually black out which is good if you want to conserve battery life. However, this might be bad if you are using your remote to give an image slideshow on your PSP. Play starts the slideshow, and Forward and Reverse work as next picture and previous picture. This remote is the only remote that will work with PSP (right now). I do not expect Sony or any other companies to make other remotes for the PSP, so if you want to listen to music, watch videos, or view pictures on your PSP, get yourself a remote to make life easier.
