Logitech is most widely known and present in stores for their assortment of keyboards, joysticks and mice. Over the years they've also been moving into the area of gaming accessories. Rather than release inexpensive products to cash in on the buzz behind the PSP, the company has designed a new line of PSP accessories. In this review, we'll be taking a look at the new Logitech PlayGear Pocket Case, priced at $20 USD.

This case is pretty good but the con of it all is that the sunscreen on the inside does not have a support and falls freely, especially when you try to pull the PSP out and it leaves little scratches on the LCD screen.

95
This is a great case for me. Very study and takes a lot of abuse in my purse. Only drawback is there's no room for extra's. I solve this by just putting it in a soft (aka makeup) bag that I can easily move from purse to purse (ok guys subsitiute backpack for purse and works the same). The PSP is protected and I can carry along extra games and headphones. So now I don't have to worry about my knitting needles scratching my PSP or game disks.

70
had this case for about a yr..and ive just thrown it out...
too bulky..no protection for PSP when playin...
eventually the clasp on the side went really weak, allowing the PSP to fall out really easy!!!
its ok but I wont be buying another one!

This thing is like a tank and will keep your PSP looking like new. I take my PSP out of the case to play it (comes out easily) but you can also play with it in the case. Get the Hori screen protector also, you'll be all set.

90
It is a little big , that is when you have your PSP in you pocket is looks like you have a tumor. But other then that it is great for watching movies and you can play games with the PSP in it. You will not be bug when you play games because have plenty of space between the "R" and "L" trigger and the case lid. Also you have a wide selection of colors to choose from (there orange, lime green, white, black and more).

This case, as another user mentioned, is almost an automatic buy. Almost every store that carries PSPs carries it, and it's only $15-20

Pros:
• Tough
• Good fit
• Dual-hinge design
• Doesn't get in the way too much

Cons:
• Ugly (IMO - The PSP just isn't as sexy with clothes on) [-2]
• Bulky [-2]
• Gets in the way a little (UMD door is inaccessible) [-2]

Once I get some graphics on it, the ugliness won't bother me, and I'm not sure they could make it any less bulky. The UMD door problem is not an issue - I simply stand the PSP up in the case when I want to change UMDs and drop it back down in there again. I'm willing to be inconvenienced a tiny bit to protect my $200+ investment.

Overall, this is probably the best case you can find easily without ordering. I would recommend it highly!

A great buy for £15 (~$20)!

Design
Great and quite nice case, but very thick with over protection. ports for power, WiFi, L and are buttons.

Protection
100% tough protection, helps protect drops and scratches and with a polycarbonate casing and rubber insides, you get over 1cm each side of protection!

Down sides of the case are that it weighs alot more than the PSP, and is nearly twice as thick, and bits of dust is able to get in through the openings. buy a screen protector too and you will be fine.

I've had my PSP for almost a year now (July 2005) and hadn't bothered to get a case. After reading all these reviews praising the PGP and seeing all the cool skins you can use for it I decided to buy it. It was definitely worth it. I feel my PSP is more secure and could survive drops now, although I'm not one to test fate and drop it on purpose. I was able to also easily create my own custom skin for it and printed it using the Logitech software "Pimp My PSP." Overall I'd consider this a good purchase except for those of you who carry around a bunch of UMDs. I rate it 97 and not 100 because nothing is perfect.

I bought this because I knew if I didn't my PSP would get an absolute battering. I keep everything I am using in my bag or in my front hoodie pocket, this includes keys, cell, PSP and other random stuff. The logitech is doing is job and then some, I can use it at work as a shade for the screen so I can see the screen with the glare from the flouro lights (stupid eco system) and I can also use it so I can play outside and in the car.

The fact that I can personalise it is just the icing on the perfect cake. This with the Airform UMD case makes for an excellent combo for anyone who is hard on their gear.

90
Size: It is kind of big, but luck for me I have large pockets. As long as you don't wear skintight clothing it should fit.

Price: Not as expensive as I would have thought, only 19.99. Very good deal!

Protection: I trust the case with my PSP's life. The case is very durable and looks like it could handle getting run over without hurting the PSP, but I don't wanna try that!

Pros: Customizable with inlays, sturdy, cheap, sexy, and not ugly (you hear that stealth case!)

Cons: Doesn't hold PSP in so you could drop it if you were holding the case open or accidentally opened it upside down, No access to disc or usb, gets kinda uncomfortable when playing for extended amounts of time.

This was my second case, and certainly not my last, but I still like it. The plastic on it may feel a little flemsy, especially with enough abuse, but will still hold out and keep your PSP safe from scratches and *most* drops. Inside of the case is some kind of rubber that really doesn't like to stay in there, but will still keep your PSP safe. Functioning as a stand, it will hold your PSP up, but only until someone pokes it/ moves the table. As a sun visor, it just doesn't work, unlike what the box said.

Pros
• Hard, sturdy poly carbonate case made to take a beating.
• Access to the shoulder buttons, Wifi and power switches, and the power and headphone ports.
• Somewhat able to play games with it on.
• Purchaseable stickers for the case means decent customizing!

Cons
• Rubbery padding inside falls out a lot.
• Little or no access to the UMD/ Memory stick slots when the case is closed or opened!
• Kind of clunky to hold while playing.
• The stand can only stay up for so long.

93
This case is great, it protects my PSP perfectly.

Pros
• Great protection
• Contains PSP well
• All buttons still easy to use
• All ports available

Cons
• It is not a good stand when inversely folded, colapses easily
• When my screen visor is on my PSP (screws into top of the PSP) , it doesn't fit
• Sometimes, I get the impression that the internet cuts off when I use it in this case (perhaps it covers the port?)

Overall, this really is a must have for every PSP owner who cares about preserving the beauty of their PSP. Another quality PSP accessary from LOGITECH!

95
I will just start by saying that this case is Great.

Pros
• Portable (easy to put into pocket).
• Very durable.
• Playable still in case.
• Access to all ports pretty much.
• Low price.
• Customisable with logitech inlays.
• Lid adjusts to be a shade thing or a stand for viewing movies.

Cons
• Have to take PSP out to open UMD door.
• A little bulky.
• Case covers speakers, so if you don't have headphones, the sound is low.
• Doesn't hold extra memory sticks or UMD's (like some other cases).

I have gone through about 3 cases and this one is the best. I think you should get it, unless you don't like taking the PSP out of the case every time you have to use the UMD door. It's very easy to take out the PSP though. Either way it is a must have, and at a low price you should get it.

98
Great case, alittle bulky, but it's customizable, it has a stand function and looks great. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

90
I found the case very robust and actually very comfortable to hold when using the PSP, its size adds that little extra needed for those of us with slightly larger hands, and also the way you can quickly prop it up on the desk to watch a movie or even play at your desk is fantastic.
You can even add a customised cover inlay, with hundreds of downloadable templates online....

What a perfect case you say. Well no. A lot of the time I am either lying down in bed or on a sofa playing the PSP, and to do this with the Playgear case is impossible as the PSP falls forward all the time and can land smack on your chin. So I decided to modify the case with some velcro to the case and PSP and I no longer have this problem and in fact the PSP sits inside more securely and you can still pull it out to change UMD's.

99
This is the greatest PSP case I have ever had and really protects PSP if it falls. But it only stores your PSP on it's own and doesn't have any space for UMDs but you may be able to store some MemorySticks. Buy if you want a case that is protective and a case that only stores the PSP on it's own.

93
It was a bit expensive, $34.99 CAN, But believe me, it is worth it. I even tested the durubillity on a working PSP. I smacked it hard on a metal pole and it kept it safe just like I thought it would. Making and finding skins for the PGP is fun as well. The only problems I had with this is that I recently bought an Intec screen protector. To my dissapointmentd, my PSP would not fit in the case with this on. I solved that problem by removing the top rubber sheet. The other problem I have with the logitech playgear pocket is that it is a bit uncomfortable to play the PSP when it is inside.

75
I bought one of these right after picking up a PSP. Like everyone else that likes it, I did too at first. I found the snug fit to be a good thing and only learned of the skins by accident (before discovering this site). I'm thankful because it saved my PSP from a 3 to 4 foot high fall onto a concrete floor when the wrist strap got snagged on something I was walking past. The PSP is fine and the case got a minor scratch, not bad for $14 on sale!

The disappointment came when the same store I bought the case at, got the Logitech PSP Playgear Visor. I bought one, ran home, took off my crappy stick-on protector, snapped the Visor on and The PSP no longer fits in the PlayGear Pocket with the Visor on!!!

The thickness of the Visor stops it from fitting into the form-fit rubber of the case! You can see that if Logitech had made the black inserts (with cutouts) to fit the PSP with their Visor product on it, they would have had a real winner: dual protection of transportation and storage in the Pocket and screen protection for the PSP out of the Pocket.

If anyone from Logitech reads this, fix the rubber inserts!

100
I have modified mine for a bigger analog stick, fits perfect. Like AAAAA gloveee.

95
This is a pretty awesome case, it provides the protection you need for your PSP, the only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because while you are playing your PSP it doesn't quite give protection to the screen. But all you really need is a screen protector and you're all good. While the PSP is in this case you don't really have to worry about dropping it, it provides great saftey and helps me feel safe about my PSP.

85
Logitech makes great product but this case falls just a little short for me. It is a little more bulky then what I expected.

When the case is tilted to 270 degrees to view movies it DOES NOT lock into place. So, the case can almost collapse. I can see this being a problem over a few years (that is to say that the hinge may get worn/used enough that the case would not stay open on its own). Access to the triggers is a bit limited - but not a problem.

All in all it it a slick looking case sporting the Logitech logo.

91
In Action
The Playgear Pocket is a well made case. It doesn't feel cheap at all. It is strong and sturdy, yet not clunky at all. It is, however, rather heavey. Pocket, as in Playgear, is a deceptive word, as is the hype for this case. Not saying that it isn't a great case. It is, but where is the magic? Anyway, I feel like a could drop this from a reasonable height, and only damage the floor. It gives me a little bit of security to know that I can stuff this in my bookbag and go for a sort trip, or somewhere where I only need my PSP and one game. You can acsess all of the ports, except the UMD one.

The PGP gets fingerprints on it, but they are much easier to wipe off than on the PSP. The shoulder buttons, though exposed, are never going to get scratched in the event of a fall, because of the design.

Looks
This is no fashion item, but you aren't going to get funny stares like you would if you were to lug you PSP and all it's acsessories in a grocery cart. As you probably know, you can customize your PSP's PGP with skins, inserted in behind the rubber backing of this case.

Value
This case is an excellent deal! $20 really shouldn't be too much of a problem for someone who already owns a PSP. You should definitely get it.

99
Simply perfect. Well nothings perfect, but as close as it gets. I know this is like the trillion-th review of this thing, but it's for a good reason. Your PSP fits in there nice and snug and doesnt slide around at all. All major buttons and switches are accessible with the case closed, without comromising the strength and protection of this case. I'm done blabbering. BUY IT!!!! It's seriously the best case out there. no cons, no negatives, none.

90
Nice design. Small enough for my pocket with access to all ports on PSP. Like the idea of skins to encourage individuality.

92
This in my opinion is a very well designed case. It is very sturdy so you will not be worrying about the condition of your PSP, I can admit that this has saved me a bunch of times when I dropped it. It is a bit bulky, but you can take your PSP out of it to play or you can leave your PSP in. If you angle the top it won't give you any glare. It is great if you don't have an iPod and listen to music on it. I close mine up and can fit it in my Ski Jacket when I ski, or my backpack when I'm walking, or even my pockets (if they're deep enough as this case adds a bit of bulk). Another great feature with this case is that most of the buttons on the PSP can be accessed (the important ones) you can charge it, plug your headphones in, turn it on or put it into sleep, and you can access the WIFI switch too. A downside is that you can't acces the UMD door. You also have the ability to customize the case with inlays that allow you to make the Playgear Pocket yours. I think this is a cool thing and I have a bunch of different inlays for my mood , etc.

Overall I would say this case can definately stand up to any competition. It is solid and has many features. It is very versatile too. If you are looking to get a case I suggest you take a good hard look at the Playgear Pocket.

See, I needed a case that could keep impacts and scratches away from my PSP, the Logitec case is sturdy, strong, and useful. The stand ability on it is great, you can watch movies on it a a perfect angle. Altough I have seen many reviews that talk about how its too bulky, well, that called "protection", and well I dont exactly use it to carry around in my pocket, but I can understand how some dont like it. I put it in my bookbag and I know its safe and sound. So in all, I really like this case, stand, thing. lol

90
The reason I picked up this product was because my fisrt PSP was stepped on and broken, badly. So when I replaced it, I bought this as well. I took the old PSP with the cracked screen and put it in the case for some testing. In one of the other reviews I saw that someone was worried that if it dropped it would pop open. I dropped it off of my dining room table and it did not open. To test it out a little further, I climbed up to my roof (do not try this on your working PSP).

I dropped it off the roof and onto the concrete driveway. Not only did it not pop open but it did'nt break. So I'm not worried about it popping open, although I'm sure it could happen. Also a drop as far from a roof may still be able to cause damage just from such a hard impact. To test it a second time I brought a hammer to the sucker, it didn't break! So this protection for me is worth it. Sometimes it feels awkward when playing in the case, but you should be more worried about your PSP's protection when you're not playing it. I recommend this case.

95
I like this. I bought it mainly because I could customize the outside. It is sturdy. You can use it as a stand, and it is good looking. It does add a little bit of bulk to your PSP, but not too bad. If you get this, you should also get the Official PGP Skins logitech is selling.

It is very good. The only problem I have with this case is that it is hard to close sometimes, becuase it is on like a bar and two hinges, and if you have it, you know what im talking about. Buy it.

94
Great case. It holds the PSP nice and tight, but if you drop it, it sometimes opens. The best feature is the custom inlays. I love to crop a picture and put it in. It serves well as a sun-blocker too. I reccomend it for a case, a cradle, and a sun blocker.

75
My friend has this case, and he swears this is the best case ever. He came over to my house and he had his PSP in this case, and the rubber inserts fell out. I dont know if his is defective, it's just like that, or if he broke it, but I am not getting this.

95
When I got my Playgear Pocket, I was shocked by the size when I opened the package! It looked big, but it looked sleek and cool. When I put my PSP in it though, it fit perfectly! When I tested it to see if it would survive a short but high drop, (about the legnth of a chair high) guess what? It survived untouched!

OK. I would not play PSP games while it was in the case, but you can do that. The lid does double as a sun shield. It also props up so that you can view movies on the tablke with ease. I also like the ability to print out inlays that you can put on the cover or back and that the Wi-Fi, USB, headphones, and AC-DC jack accessible when the case is closed.. This is perfect if you are clumsy, drop things all the time, or someone who does not want to see 250 big ones go down the drain (or down to the floor I should say...).

Yet, I found this to be one of those things a PSP fanatic should have.

75
I bought this case because it got great reviews. This case is mediocre at best. It looks cool and has some functionality but it has many flaws. The first thing you'll notice when you put your PSP in the case is that there is no strap. You could easily drop the case and your PSP would fall out.

The size of the case is also a problem. It almost doubles the weight and size of the PSP so it becomes a nuisance to carry around. Atleast with the soft case I could carry it in my pocket. Also, the case is not very sturdy. I haven't dropped my PSP with the case on it yet but I am afraid to test it out. I have a feeling once I drop the case it will pop open and my PSP will jump right out.

90
I got this case at the same time I bought all my other accessories for the PSP. Love this thing - can't wait to mod it. The case is extremely sturdy and does exactly what it's billed to do: protect your big investment.

My only gripes:
• I used this on a plane recently, and set it in 'stand mode' on the my tray. It tried to close on me a few times when the ride was rough, and it slid around too much. The case need rubber grommets to hold it in place.
• I worry that with all the cutouts, dirt and debris will still get inside and could end up trapped between my screen and the rubber inside. So, if you get this case I recommend you choose also a screen protector of some kind.

Otherwise the price is right on and worth every penny.

100
To be honest, the only reason I bought this case over the others was cos it looked so cool.

Then I found out all the advantages of this case. The PSP fits quite nicely in it, it does not move around at all, you can play the PSP while it is in the case, you have access to most of the ports and controls. And it also works as a stand. It is a little heavy and bulky, but that makes me feel a little more confident in the case.

I am a little clumsy so I have bumped the case on corners of walls, chairs, people, etc. And I have dropped the case about 2 or so feet off my lap a few times and there was no harm to my PSP.

All in all I have to say this is a great case and I am very happy with it. Unless you wear skin tight pants, I'd have to say this case will not disappoint.

100
I travel often and enjoy knowing that this case protects my investment when bouncing around in my bag. During flights I either watch movies directly by folding the upper flap back or I play games both in and out (preferred) of the case since over time it can seem heavy.

Overall an excellent design!

90
A visor, a stand, a case, and a way of self expression.

For blocking out the sun it works pretty well. But you'll have to be realistic about it and recognize that the sun shows no mercy! So it's not like you'll be walking around with an umbrella over your PSP that's for sure. The lid does as well as you'd imagine.

For working as a stand it's been good but not great. Lately the hinge isn't as tight and it starts to spread a bit. Still stays up though.

For playing with the case on it works well enough. The hard edges may not feel so nice to some but to others you may find that the extra bit of plastic around your PSP enhances your game playing. Although the case puts weight on your PSP.

As a case to protect your PSP this is one hard case. I've dropped it purposefully (thrown it too) and by accident and the case doesn't pop open or shake and rattle your PSP around. Polycarbonate rules. Now if some brave soul would drop it from a skyscrapper...

For expressing yourself through inlays it's a no brainer. This is what, more than anything else, will keep you from throwing this somewhere under you bed. A feature I think that Logitech should have printed on the packaging somewhere.

My biggest complaint is that the PSP isn't actually held down. It sits in the case but can still fall forward and out. This isn't a huge problem but it would be nice to not have to worry about it popping out.

Overall this is a great case. Period.

85
Such a cool case. protects the PSP and doesnt iterfear with gaming. Makes a great stand too!

95
My only pet peeves are:
• It leaves no access to the USB port, which would be GREAT to have, so your PSP is protected while tranferring those larger files.
• It is kind of awkward to actually PLAY it in the case, feels a little bulky.
• It offers no real protection while playing the PSP. If you drop it, the PSP will pop out any way.

Pros
• Great protection for your PSP while charging, listening to music, traveling, etc.
• Cheap, at only $19.99, it is a steal.

Cons
• No USB access
• No protection while playing
• Gives little protection against rain

Overall
Must have. It was the second thing I bought for my PSP (MemoryStick Duo being the first)

95
This case is amazing it is very durable and it protects your PSP very good. If you are looking for the best case out there, this is the one.

Pros
• Very Durable
• Inexpensive Price
• Looks Cool
• You can use inlays

Cons
• Bulky - this thing is HUGE it barely fits in my pocket. I took the PSP out because I usually play my PSP in the Playgear pocket and the PSP felt REALLY THIN.

Overall I think this is a great product and I highly recommend this to audiences who want to take it with them in their Pocket. Logitech you have done it again!!!

85
After getting my PSP about two weeks ago, I soon realised that the included softcase was close to worthless.

I wanted a case that let me put the PSP in my backpack together with all my other stuff without being afraid of it scratching, breaking and/or chipping. So I took to the net to see what I could find. I wanted something simple that let me use the PSP while it still was in it's case, so it couldn't be too bulky, and I didn't want an aluminium case, as I have had bad experiences with them for my Pocket PC. I didn't want a silicone case, as it doesn't protect from bumps and scratches as much as I'd like. So, I found the PlayGear Pocket. And it is truly great!

Short of an Otterbox case, I think I would be hard put to find better protection for my PSP. My cats have done just about anything with it, except to use it as a kittylitter, it's shared my backpack with a whole lot of sharp and dangerous objects that would otherwise made a PSP look like lawnmower leftovers and later, trying to run away from said objects, it fell about 5 feet from my backpack down on the pavement, but it's still in mint condition!

If you want good protection that doesn't impair your playing, but doesn't mind a little bulk, then get it!

Pros
• Protection
• PSP playable while still in case
• Lightweight
• Looks good

Cons
• A bit on the bulky side
• Nowhere to store extra MemorySticks or UMDs

99
I can't give it a 100 because nothing is perfect. For what I used it for this case is wonderful. I have already had instances where it protected my PSP well. My son 'bounced' my PSP on the table a couple of times and it did what it's supposed to in absorbing the shock from that.

As far as the fashion side of things. The fact that you can put any inlay you want makes it the case that sets it apart from all the rest. I have some custom artwork that I used for an inlay and people always ask where I got this 'special' case.

Basically it's a no brainer, get this case.

100
Based upon numerous reviews, I purchased this case before delivery of my PSP. Due to all the flight traveling I do, this case is ideal for my schedule. Granted it's probably bigger than most other cases, it provides a sense of security when you tuck it into any case, bag, pack pack, whatever you stuff it into. Open it up and the PSP is as perfect as you need it to be. Wheter you use it as a primary or secondary case, it's pretty hard to pass it up.

70
Firstly, the case came with a bundle I purchased, I thought it be a great idea to have a hard case for my PSP, especially after the reports I had heard about how easy the screen was to scratch and mark. I'd seen the soft cases, and going on past experience a hard case was defiantly the way forward.

The retail packaging was a nightmare to open, why on earth do vacuum formed packs have to be heat sealed all the way round! After hunting round for a sharpe enough knife, I put my life at risk and started to cut into the plastic wrapper. Luckily I missed all the vital organs on my body and only managed to surface scratch the dinning room table. I moved the place mat’s around so the wife wouldn't see the new indents on our table. I'll blame the neighbours kids in a few weeks.

For some reason the case came with a nice A1 fold out manual. To cut it short: 1) Open Case. 2) Place PSP inside.

Not sure why it needed diagrams and 20 different languages, but hey whom I to argue. I started learning German and French whilst pretending all was fine when the wife walked in asking why I was sprawled over the table; 'nothing dear, just stretching my back whilst learning German!'. Not sure she fell for it but hey, neighbours kids may come round tomorrow!

The case itself is a clear plastic case with Logitech's logo on the front. Inside there is a semi soft black form padding to keep the PSP in place (more on that later). On the back they have cut a nice circle so the PSP logo on the back of the unit shows through. The corners of the case are missing, I guess so you can click buttons and charge the unit whilst is stays in place. The case makes the unit 3 times as thick and nice and bulky (that's sarcasm) so no sticking it in your shirt pocket.

The open catch is bad, in fact very bad - it decides when you can open the case, a fun game to start with but 20 button presses later you just want to play a game on the unit! A slide catch or similar would have been more useable! It’s really easy to place the PSP into the cut out slot, just as easy for the unit to fall out on the floor.

Open up the case fully and it becomes a stand for the unit. Not sure why to be honest as it’s at the wrong angle to watch a movie! And impossible to play the unit whilst in the case.

As long as you don't mind fighting to open the case, run the risk of your PSP crashing to the floor and have huge pockets this is the case for you!

Don't get me wrong, it’s a fantastic case as a whole and sturdy, there are just some real fundamental things that really need changing with it. It tries to be too many things, a case, a stand and god knows what else, maybe if I read the German manual again it may be clear.

There is no point in the cut out corners to allow access to the buttons, provide us with a sealed case so we can stick in at the bottom of our sports bag. It won’t provide much protection if you drop it either, I have a funny feeling the random catch will decide to open on impact! Open the case when it’s flat on a table to avoid your PSP falling out! And don't use it as a stand as you'll knock it over allowing the PSP to spring into life!

What you really want is a case that's just bigger than the unit, hold the unit in place and , allows complete protection of the unit. I'm really disappointed and glad I didn't spend £20 on it!

Must dash, the wife is heading towards the table!

I bought this case a month before I got my PSP, eagerly awaiting the day that I would put one in it. So it sat on my shelf, empty and mostly ignored, except when I took it down to examine it and imagine its future cargo. And this is what I found when I did, It was light, easily cleaned, had the possiblity of inlays because of the removeable sillicone inserts (which I wasn't alone because not soon after finding this site, I saw my first inlay and knew that I was on to something) and it would securely hold the equipment.

And wouldn't you know it, I was right and am glad I picked it on a whim.

I have dropped it from a maximum height of 5 feet on concrete (and it was purely accidental DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME), tossed it onto Tile (max height: 2 feet, I was sitting down in a recliner) carried it in my backpack, back pocket and suitcase, sat on it whilst in my back pocket, and finally thrown it onto the couch, bed, carpet, and desk. And everytime the PSP was inside, intact, well protected, and most of all safe.

wet and you will not be sorry!

I've had this case for 2 weeks, and if anything impresses me more than surviving a 5ft drop off the bartop, I'll start singing songs about the Logitech PlayGear Pocket.

Being a bicycle commuter in the unfriendly city of Houston, I gravitate towards messenger grade, armor plated, ballistic products, but I dance on that line where portability and bulk are not too severely compromised. If the LPGP were not so damned tough, I couldn't love such a porker. It stows easily into my messenger bag and the open port for my headphones makes it easy to listen to MP3s while I ride.

The flip top does nothing to block the sun, but it serves wonderfully holding up my PSP at work on those unauthorized slack breaks or in my lap while my girlie and I watch a MP4 in bed.

There are lots of cool skins and templates online if you want to customize your LPGP. Simply slip your chosen skin between the high density rubber lining and the polycarbonate shell of your LPGP. (Read: high density rubber and polycarbonate shell = bombproof.)

Some complain about the PSP falling out of this case while open. If you know you're a klutz and a hamfist, use the freakin' wrist strap. The cutouts in the LPGP allow you to keep the strap attatched to your PSP, so there's no excuse not to. I write from experience here. Others complain about limited access to the UMD slot. I just accept that this case is more about protection from point A to point B. Others, still not happy with the fact that their PSP is safely coddled away in armorplate, wish for storage space. I might give that one to them if this case couldn't fit into travel bags made for the PSP.

My only real gripe is this: while the cutouts for shoulder buttons, power switch, wifi switch, and headphone jack are convenient and well made, they don't do anything to keep out potentially damaging dust and dirt. I try to make sure there's no lint or dirt in my bag or pocket and have applied a screen protector in hopes to stave off the inevitable scratches to my PSP's super glossy surface. I'll probably apply a Evolution Vinyl Skin to cover everything else, and my one mark against the LPGP may be erased.

I strongly recommend the Logitech PlayGear Pocket case to any PSP owner. It's not a question of if you'll drop it, but when, and all the other slim profile and faceplate protectors will only leave you in tears. There's enough aftermarket accessories out there to address the minor design setback to an otherwise perfect embrace.

This is one of the best cases for the PSP ever. Far better than the Stealth Case. It is made of polycarbonate plastic which makes it nearly indestructable. Although it can't hold any extra memory sticks it's worth it. So if you want to protect your godly and almighty PSP from anything then you must get this case!

I bought my PSP 2 weeks ago and have been aching for a case thats hard and resists everyday wear and tear. As I plunked the PSP into the case and closed it, I am nothing but happy and satisfied with the Playgear Pocket. Logitech puts out above average equipment in every area and this is no exception. The case is very sturdy for transparent polycarbonate plastic, and quite thick. It feels like a vault. The latch is secure and only comes open when you really want it to. There are open holes around the case so one can plug in the ac adaptor or headphones with ease. The lid has tension in it telling me it will retain its position for a long long time. The clear plastic really stand out, making the whole unit look gorgeous. Playing the PSP is also easy. The case takes a few minutes to adjust to, but once that happens its second nature and its nice to know your handprints will go on the case, not the PSP. So now I am totally happy knowing my PSP is safe and my investment is secure. Totally recommended.

10
Save your money and buy a real case, not this piece of plastic crap that won't protect your PSP at all. The only reason people like it is the ability to use inlays.

96
Like what everyone else says, the first thing I thought was, wow it's big. Still I really liked the case overall. Here is a list of what I thought was good and bad:

The pros
• Very sturdy and unlikely to break if dropped at a reasonable height
• Can flip the visor into a sitting position perfect for watching movies or using as a docking station
• Can put inlays in the cover or back to customize your case
• Has an overall good look to it

The cons
• A pretty big case compared to others
• The PSP is not hooked into the case, it just lays or sits in the case and will fall out if you are not carefull
• The rubber on the inside seems to attract dust like the PSP too, so gets dirty very easily

85
I thought the Logitech Playgear Pocket would be better than perfect but i'ts not as good as I thought it would be from all the reviews. It's a great hard case and with access to all the ports and the L and are button. It's totally customizable which is great but doesn't really matter to me.

There's some thing wrong with this case. It scratches fairly easily but at least it's not the PSP getting scratched. The case is big in you're pocket and heavy in your hands. And with the new aluminum case out I don't think it's the best buy, but it's a good case overall and it does what it promises which is protect and play.

65
What suprised me most about the PGP was that it was so bulky. It weighs almost as much as the PSP itself. It makes the PSP look so much bigger than it really is. The thing I hated most about it was the stupid dust that got into the PGP. That really irrated me because I wanted it to protect the PSP, which it did except for the dust thing. But the thing I like most about the PGP was the way that it can be used as a stand and its easy accesiblity to the ports. If only there were a hole for the USB port. Overall I would say not to get the PGP just because there are way better cases out there. But if you want bulky protection then get the PGP.

Not too much that hasn't already been said, but:

• Mine has survived several drops from 4 feet high and works fine.
• I keep it in my backpack, throw it around, and it works fine.

70
I see only good things about this case and I must say it is impressive but it's missing one important feature and that is the ability to at least carry 2 UMD's as well - then it would be perfect.

As a hard case it is one of a kind with the added bonus of customization. Bit bulky but a 4 foot drop and a still working PSP bears testament to its durability. Picks up prints and marks as easily as your PSP (a perfect match :p ) but looks just as good.

As it stands it is good but not the best.

94
I had just recently bought this case, and I must say, I am very happy. I decided to buy it after months of lazy searching and indecision. I thought this case would be awesome after piles of inlays and its protective material. Certainly, its awesome. Although it DOES look thinner in the pictures, this case is pretty light to me, and I have no complaints.

Except, I'm not exactly sure why my PSP keeps slipping out so easily.

Overall, this is a great product

68
I dont see why everyone likes this case, I have it, and usually my PSP slips out of it. It looks a lot thinner in the picture than it does in real life, its really bulky and the flip top is really huge. It costs 20 bucks just for a bulky flip top piece of junk!

98
I have tried many different cases for the PSP, this is definately the best. Not only does it allow you to play in the case and listen to music in the case, but also to charge it withought taking it out. I feel completely secure when my PSP is in this thing, and I never take it out. The only downside to some people may be the size, it's nearly doubles the thickness of the PSP.

95
I first bought the Playgear Pocket thinking I spent $20 on some ordinary case. At first glance the Logitech case seems pretty simple, but once you begin using it, the case seems like an absolute neccesity.

The extra hard poly carbonate plastic can be dropped over and over with no damage to the PSP and most of the systems' ports stay open (AC adapter, MS, Power Button). One cool thing I found out about the case after I bought it was that it can be customized with different inlays! This feature lets users customize their PSP to their liking.

The only downside to this case is that the UMD drive is not accesible when the PSP is in the case. Other than that, I think this case is a must-have for any PSP owner.

90
I got this case to put my PSP in, and it works like a charm. Fits in there snugly, and I feel so safe with it in there that I don't use a screen protector any more. You should always keep the wrist strap on when using it, just in case you get excited and somehow manage to dislodge the PSP. Because the buttons are accessible while it's still in the case, I play with it in there permanently - much less hassle than the soft case the PSP came in.

Also, because the headphone socket is accessible, you can leave the PSP in your bag/pocket with the case closed and play music without needing to have your expensive toy on show. It stands on its own if you want to put the PSP down to watch a movie or whatever. You still have to take it (at least partially) out of the case to change UMDs or memory sticks, and it looks like the IR port is blocked by the case, but I've never used that. All in all, well worth the $20 I paid for it.

99
This Product was the first thing I bought for my PSP and I am pleased that it lives up to its hype. It completely protects and secures my PSP in its polycarbonate armor with no problem. Its a efficent travel case and I highly recommend it to any one who wants a inexpensive case for their prized PSP

99
This is by far the best thing I have ever bought for my PSP. It can be run over with a car and the PSP won't be damaged. You can also play it while it is in the case. Although it takes awhile to get used to, it's really nice!

Also, you can charge while it is in the case, you can use headphones when it is in the case, and you can use the wrist strap. It is a very usefull product, and I recommend it to any Playstation Portable owner.

93
The case really holds up when it comes to day to day things. It does add a little bulk, but it's acceptable. You can charge it and listen throught the headphone jack with it on and closed. One thing I didn't get was why there needed to be a recess in the plasic for the L and are buttons. One cool feature it had was the double jointed nature of it. That it can go all the way back and can be used as a stand for movies. It says it can also be used as a sun visor kinda thing. I somewhat doubt all things like that, if its too bright, just shut off the lights. The black rubber that protects it really feels like it could take a beating. As a whole the case is soild, just as a case should be.

95
Perfect fit, tough exterior and the ability to personalise. Pretty much the bee's knees.

93
After I bought this I thought it was a waste of money and just some bulky case. But after using it, it was really helpful. I dropped my PSP and it didn't do any damage. It is pretty bulky so you might not want to put it in your pocket. The cool skins make it easier to find if you have a messy room or lose it somewhere. Otherwise it is a really good case and is better than any other cases out there. So if you have the money buy it now.

87
I purchased one of these in Taiwan for about 18 USD. It is a thick case, and is hard to make your PSP portable. I haven't dropped my PSP yet, so I wouldn't know anything about its indestructible feature.

The surface is scratched easily. I put it in my pocket the first time I bought it for one trip around the airport, and it appeared scathed, as if I abused it. Don't get me wrong, I love the inlays from this site. In fact, I'm currently using the "I wish I was born a PSP" one right now, but I also am a proud owner of an unused PS Pictogram, and I'm currently waivering in between choices.

My verdict? It's a durable case with a lot to offer (270 degree turn to a movie stand, indestructible feature) but at the same time, it lacks in appearance (for those of you who don't want to look like geeks in public, it makes your PSP look like a deformed Nintendo DS, as well as something out of Starcraft, which, trust me, you don't want to be seen with.) This case is in no way slim, but it's shiny, so that's a plus! :-D

98
This case is really good. Flip stand is good for watching movies and your PSP is playable when the case is open. Caution: case may fall out when open so be careful. Offers the best protection when the case is closed and can be recharged when closed, the power/hold button can be used, and the wireless connetion can also be used. The case may be large while playing, but it is no different from a console controller.

85
Giving me my $20 worth this case cuddles yout PSP with tough protection. The case is shiny and doubles as a stand for watching UMD's. Negatives are that if yout PSP was not heavy engough, this case will make it hefty. This is purely a PSP case no UMD slots or spot for headphones. Overall best I have seen so far and my PSP is safe and I am happy.

95
Once again, Logitech puts out a good accessory for the PSP. This case protects much more than the standard soft case that comes with most PSP's. Although the entire case with the PSP inside can get somewhat heavy, it's nothing that you can't get used to.

Take note also that there are open port locations so that you can charge, listen to your music, and play your PSP without even having to take your PSP out of the case -- great for keeping your PSP in prestine condition. I recommend buying this case. It's uncrushable.

95
I have bought a lot of accessories for my PSP. None compare to this one for all around best usability. Small, lightweight and completly affordable, I think everyone should at least own this case. My only beef is that it doesn't hold the PSP in place while open, that can be fixed with velcro.

99
I can't see what the other reviewer thought was wrong with this... The case is lightweight enough to be carried in a (jacket) pocket and sturdy enough to be safe if dropped.

It can be personalised by photos or prints laid inside the cover and this gives it all the street cred you may need (but why worry?).

The lid folds back to leave an excellent viewing position for movies and the USB abd charge are available when watching.

This is the daddy of cases and I would tell anyone that this is the case to get. Be judged by the care you take of your PSP, and the ease you use it inside the case - buy Logitech.

99
Protection: Great protective case, it's made of Polycarbonite carbon molecules which in simple terms means it can withstand just about anything. But be reasonable with it, don't drop it off a 15 story building and expect the warranty to cover it. :P

Other features: Either by yourself or other talented members of PSP411, you can create an Inlay for your case. Just remove the plastic place it in and put back the plastic and you have a detailed cover for the front, and they also have some for the back. All you have to do it print off another one and change it very simply. Great thing, doubt Logitech intended it either.

Overall: Better than any other case out there, it's pretty hard for your PSP to get damaged while inside, I highly recommend this case, also with the Inlay ability no reason not to. Only $20 USD so why not?

98
Logitech did a great job on this lil' piece of protection for your PSP that every owner takes care of like a baby (well, most do). This case protects and does its job when on the move or just anytime! The PSP fits perfectly snug into the case, protected by some kind of plastic fiber (trust me on this one, it does not harm the PSP at all), and isn't too bulky not to fit in your pocket.

Only downside to this piece of equipment is that it feels funky when you try to open and close this thing. But when it's closed, it's hard to open. This is a negative and a postive. The negative is that it can get quite annoying when you try to open it. The positive is that you know it won't open on its own when in a bag or any type of luggage.

Overall, this thing is a must get if you want good, reliable, protection that isn't bulky and expensive. Only for the price of 20$!!! Good job Logitech!!! =)

99
Best case you can get for 20 bucks.

95
Got this specifically for the ability to put inlays into it. :-) I've been very happy with it. Although not perfect (it can be difficult to open sometimes) I think it's one of the best choices out there. Being able to charge my PSP with the case closed is a huge deal. And of course with a nice inlay printed on glossy photo paper, this thing looks HOT!

95
This was the first thing I ever bought with my PSP (other than a game of course). It is made of a material that can stop bullets they say, why anyone would shoot at a PSP I have no idea, but it is good to know it is safe. To this day I do not regret it one bit. It is built to last and protect. People say the PSP falls out easily, I have yet to have that happen to me in the 3 months I have owned it. I leave it in my pocket unless I am playing and I can easily listen to music with it in there. A few things I wish it had were UMD access (not easy for them to do so I can accept the fact this wasn't added), memory stick access, and USB access while in the closed case. The coolest thing about this is the inlays (which isn't a feature listed on the box). It allows you to personlize your PSP and set it apart from the rest. For a small price of $20 it is well worth it. If you own a PSP you need this case, pure and simple.

99
By now, you'd have read many reviews on Logitech's PlayGear Pocket, so I'll try to keep this short. With $20 to spare, you'll find that this offering from Logitech is perhaps the best that you can find in a sea of PSP protection cases released by several companies.

The key selling point of the PlayGear Pocket is its functionality. When you buy a case to protect something, the attribute that most concerns you would be how well it actually protects. The PlayGear Pocket does this well. Made of clear polycarbonate, the case looks, and most importantly, feels tough. The inner walls of the case are clothed in rubber, providing a firm grip that holds your console nicely in place. If you're justifying your purchase soley in terms of its ability to offer protection, it's pretty obvious that the PlayGear Pocket will serve your requirement. The case also has several cut-outs that allow you to access the "L" and "R" buttons, the power and WI-FI switches, and the earphones and charger jacks at the four corners of your PSP. This means that you can essentially use your PSP without removing it from the case. That's pretty useful, I think. But yet, the PlayGear Pocket is more than just that.

Still on the area of functionality, the PlayGear Pocket also provides good value by providing a makeshift visor and transforming into a cradle for holding your PSP. These are made possible with a friction hinge, which allows the cover of the case to stay in place in any angle up to 270 degrees. Lifting the cover up slightly allows it to filter off glare, and pushing it all the way back turns the case into a stand, which is ideal for purposes such as movie-watching. Now, that sounds like some good multi-tasking.

Apart from satisfying your need for functionality, the PlayGear Pocket is also nicely designed. Despite having a thick outer layer, the case is designed to fit the shape of your PSP, making the size of it is just slightly bigger than the console itself. This will please buyers who want a cool-looking case without too much excess baggage. The combination of clear plastic and black rubber also makes the PlayGear Pocket appears sleek and stylish. If you're easily appealed by appearance, you'll fall in love with this product. What's more? The case is also customizable, so you can even make your own skin for the cover. This should please gamers who prefer to have their own unique identity.

The down side of the PlayGear Pocket is obviously its weight. It adds considerable package to an already heavy PSP, making it quite like holding a brick at times. Also, despite allowing access to your buttons and switches, the design of the case also means that it's impossible to attach a USB cable from your computer to your PSP when it's in the case. These are not major issues though, and should not be seen as forms of deterrence.

So, eventually, I didn't manage to keep this short. Nevertheless, I hope that I've done enough to impress you to get this product. The PlayGear Pocket is streets ahead of most, if not all its competitor, and having it with allows you to finally kiss the dodgy sleeve that came with your PSP Value Pack goodbye. It didn't take me a long time to buy this, and I think you should too.

98
Great case, does an awesome job of protecting your PSP. Inserts are great, they make it look really sharp. If you need a case, buy this one. It can even be used as a stand for your PSP, so you can just rest it on a table as you press the buttons. Personally I think this makes it much easier to play.

99
I found this case to be very sturdy, light, and overall great protection for my beloved PSP! People have dropped their PSP from 6' to concrete side-walks and the PSP is still perfect!

95
Looking for a best case for my PSP I had few choices in mind - Logitech wasn't one of them, simply because it's not released in Europe yet, and it's too expensive on US eBay for a Polish gamer (>40$). I was close to getting Brando but when Play-Asia got them in stock I clicked in a second and now I'm a proud owner of the BEST PSP case there is.

Accessible portss, ideally fitting inside, easy to use open-button (not like MadCatz hell), inlay possibilities, stand for movies - all great, well-thought solutions. And only a few flaws: the edges are too sharp, the surface is easy to scratch and still no belt clip. This last one is a common flaw in most cases. Overall - the best there is. So far.

60
The case is very well made so hats off to Logitech for that. It opens and closes easily, and when closed you have full access to many of the player functions. You are also able to play your PSP while in the case with no probs. To top it off it works as a stand with the lid folded back. That is however where the cases short commings become all too clear. Your 249.99 investment is just sitting in the case. The rubber sides don't even offer a little resistance when removing your PSP. In fact if someone happens to jar the table where you are sitting enjoying your latest Anime download you get the joy of watching your baby fall on it's face (what happened to me).

The case isn't without hope though. It took me about 2 hours at a draft board and another 2 to actually make the mods to the case. I wish I had some pictures but I had a choice between a digital camera or a PSP. I will try and explain what I did though for those who want to know.

I wanted access to the USB port when the case was in movie mode. You can fix the case with a Drim tool and exacto knife. You have to remove the plastic liner from the bottom of the case, shave off some of the plastic at the top where the liner hooks by the USB port, and then use the knife to cut a bit of the plastic lining. Doing this gives you just enough room to plug in your usb when it is opened.

The second mod involves holding your PSP in when the unit is open. For this I used some Static cling plastic (the kind that many of the screen protectors are made of) to secure the PSP. You need about a 6 inch long by 1 inch wide piece of the plastic. You cut a slit in the bottom rubber liner of the pocket gear at the edge right below your PSP screen and feed one end of the plastic strip through it and secure it somehow. I used modeling glue. Then cut another slit in the same place along the top edge and feed the other end through it. The way I lock it into place is by pulling it tight while the PSP is in the case and hooking it over the lip where the rubber liner clips in.

All in all it is a pain but it works, since you have to remove the PSP to change the UMD anyway it isn't that much of a headache. I hope this helps someone else keep their baby safe.

90
Great case. It feels like it will protect no matter what and I love the fact that its also a stand. And, I've had fun with the skin inserts on it as well. Katamari Damacy right now. The only problemo is the bulk of it. I also hate that there's no storage for UMDs or Mem Sticks.

94
This is a good sturdy case from Logitech, made from clear polycarbonate with rubber padding inside wich holds the PSP well. However once you have the PSP in the case you realise that it weighs quite a bit.

A neat feature of this case is that it is posible to access the switches and jacks when the case is closed and it is also possible to play the PSP while is in the case. Though these same openings stop this case from being splash proof and dirt can get into the case.

The hinge on the case allows you to use this case as a stand as well, which is good for watching movies but the hinge movement does sometimes hinder the opening and closing of the case.
Another attractive feature on this case is the ability to customize it using pictures which you can slip between the rubber lining and the clear casing. Many pictures specificaly designed for this case can be found in the mods section of this site.

Overall this good solid case and definately worth considering when buying a case, as it's cheap, strong, functional and easily costomised.

95
When one goes to the store to purchase a case, they'd probably look at the basics: protection, functionality, and style. There are many options out there, which makes it very tough to find a case that presents any of the basic necessities of a good case. This case is one of the few out there that presents the basics of a decent case, does it well, and offers more.

Protection-wise, this case is more than enough. Get it as a throw-in-the-bag case, or even for keeping in your pocket. It's a little on the large size, but is made of nearly-indestructable material, so you don't need to worry about damaging your $250 investment.

In the field of functionality, it's very well done. While some cases are protective and have many features, not many allow you to play with it inside the case, as the PlayGear Pocket does. The PlayGear Pocket also has an innovative flip cover that flips backwards to hold the PSP at a watchable angle, so that's another plus. The convenient flip cover also blocks the sun out of your way, so you can play outside again.

Style wise this is a slick case. It adds the style of the PSP to its unique design. But another feature that is getting big fast is the fact that you can slip in your own skins between the rubber protection and the plastic exterior to personalize the outside.

Overall, this is a steal at $19.99, and it's got style and protection that you can expand on. It's a must-have for anyone who has a PSP.

95
I love to have my expensive portable devices well protected, and this case does that, and then some. Top it off with the ability to put a printed inlay between the padding and the shell, and it's even cooler. When my PSP is in this case, I don't worry about anything damaging it short of falling into a puddle. It also reduces hand cramping while playing because of the extra bulk where you hold it while playing it in the case. If I had one complaint, it would be that the PSP is just loosely sitting in it. I'd like for the case to have a light hold on it. Enough to hold it in if tipped up too far, but not so much that it's hard to remove.

55
This case was a complete waste of money for me - I got it, tried it, put it away and never used in since!

Pros
• Ok price
• Feels like it will protect the PSP pretty well if you drop it

Cons
• FAR too bulky
• Looks and feels cheap
• PSP is not secure in the case - falls out easily when open
• Hard to open and close the case
• No room for UMD's or memory sticks

Try again Logitech.. I know you can do better

92
This is the best case out there, it protects the entire PSP, works as a stand, and still allows you to charge it or listen to MP3s while its closed. Logitech did a great job!

95
Logitech never seems to disapoint me. This is a great addition to my PSP collection. It is very sturdy and looks great; especially after modding it.

96
Although bulky, it is gorgeous! Love to put in skins!!

95
This is the best case I have seen so far! It protects your PSP very well (thick plastic, covered with rubber on the inside). And you can put your own skins in it, so it's a personalized case, very cool! Must have!

97
Great but the pirce should be a little lower.

99
NOT POSSIBLE!! Logitech has been making high quality products for years now, many of which I own. This case is absolutely amazing as it protects your PSP from virtually anything. One negative has to do with opening the case since you have to put pressure on areas just right so that it pops open. This is good however, since you will not have to worry about it flinging open when you accidentally (or just test, hehe) it.

When it is open the PSP can easily be taken out by turning the case at about a 100+ degree angle, just make sure not to do this during play unless you have your hands ready to grasp it or you will be outraged to find it fall on the floor. Also, I suggest placing some type of soft cloth on the top of the inside of the case just as an extra precaution not to scratch it.

The entire inside of the case has a rubber lining which holds it in place, I just don't trust it coming into contact with the actual screen. Some people complain about the UMD access being a glitch, but I hardly consider that, as all you have to do it tilt it until the console falls out and then exchange games/videos/music and place it back in.

Another great feature is that it acts like a dock to watch movies or listen to music; just tilt back the top cover and it turns into somewhat of a cradle. It's also very stylish with the shiny glass-looking material on the outside which cannot be noticed very well from the pictures shown here. Plus, when you play it there is a cutout in the back that let's the PSP logo show itself in a very pretentious manner.

It also provides rather decent access to all switches and buttons when in the case unless you have small hands (for buttons) or fat fingers (for switches). The only exception is that there are some corners on the side of this case that sort of stab into the base of your thumb if held wrong. But despite the size, it fits rather well in my pockets and only notice it when I walk.

Protection: 10/10
Looks: 10/10
Weight: 10/10 <- worth it for protection
Accessability: 9/10
Size: 10/10

But I will add .1 because I love this case so much! I would give it a perfect score, but the sharp edges seem to make me notice them a lot when they're poking me. You will notice when you get one. But other than that, it's the best case out there!

91
When I first took the Logitech Playgear Pocket out of it's hard security packaging and held it my hands, my first thought is "Wow this thing really is as big as everyone says it is." But after placing my PSP into it's new hard shelled home i was incredibley pleased. Not only does the case leave all the proper openings so it can be used for music but it closes securely and looks good doing it.

Protection
The case being made of a hard polycarbonite plastic makes you feel safe carrying your PSP around with you more often. The only things this case can't protect your PSP from is water and dust. The case does scratch and even after my first day of having it, I was sad to see one large scratch down the back of it after sliding it into the glove compartment of my car. But better the case then the PSP right?

Versatility
The case can also be used as a stand for watching movies as the back lid folds back to hold the PSP up at a perfect angle. This is perfect for those of you out there that want to buy UMD movies or watch your favorite TV episodes off the memory stick. I personally have yet to find myself watching many programs on the PSP but that may be due to the fact that I have a huge entertainment setup and rarely leave the house with my PSP. The case also gives you the ability to modify it. Due to it's removeable rubber insides you can create personalized inserts so that your Logitech case is easily distiguished from the other boys and girls on the block. Be careful though, just as the PSP is a magnet for dust so is this case. Once you remove the rubber backing you may find it hard to ever get your case free of dust from between the rubber. Finally, and my favorite part, you can easily listen to music while your PSP is comfortably locked away inside. This is due to the fact that all the nessesary ports are kept open by cut outs in te case. Since i don't own any portable music devices, I use my PSP for all my music needs. My favorite use for it is in my car. No longer do i need to create mix CD's or swap discs while driving. I just turn on my PSP, hook up my FM transmitter, and listen to my music over my car stereo. And thanks to the Logitech Playgear I no longer have to worry about my PSP getting all scratched up.

Downsides
The case is bulky and while this does not at all bother me I can see how some people might see this as rather annoying. If you wear tight pants or don't carry a backpack with you, you might have trouble finding a place to put this when you're on the go. I personally can fit it easily into either my pant's pockets ( i don't wear really baggy pants) or the inside pocket of my jacket. The second downside of this case is that there is no storage. I have looked at tons of cases and none seem to fit what i'm looking for yet. I would like a case with enough storage to hold some UMD's, headphones and remote, charger, and memory sticks, while staying as slim as possible. Every portable gaming device i have owned before the PSP has sold a case to meet my needs but I have yet to find a proper All-in-One case for the PSP.

Conclusion
If you want protection and a sexy sleek accessory then the Logitech Playgear Pocket is for you. If you want a slim case or storage then maybe this isn't for you.

This case is great, the best purchase I have ever made. My PSP fits sooo perfect. It has open spots for all the ports, you can even play comfortably when it is still in the case. This deserves more than 100, but sadly that's all I can give it.

I dont know why people are saying that their PSPs dont fit, they are clearly wrong, mine couldnt fit better. The only problem is that there is no room to store anything else, but who cares? I highly reccomend this.

I really like this case it protects the PSP awesomly. Also it fits into the Intec metal case top area. Very nice, I picked this up from my local Gamestop for $23 great deal.
