This was a great and inovative game for the original Playstation. The game is filled with vibrant levels, tons of humor and lots of fun.

Storyline
Sir Dan Fortesque was Gallowmeres' once favored hero. He was the first to fall in the battle against the evil sorcerer Zarok. Now Zarok is back and has risen an army of the dead, and bring Sir Dan back as well. Sir Dan being a coward in his past life seeks to redeem himself, earn a place in the Hall of Heroes, and once again defeat Zarok.

Gameplay
The gameplay is really simple but has a combo system. Nothing really different than much else, there is a fast attack and a slower but more powerful one, you can string these two together for a combo.

Graphics
The game looks great, the in game quality is amazing as well as the cutscenes. They "brightened" the look of the game from the original on the Playstation and gives it a less "dark" feeling. The voice overs in the game are great, some serious while others are just humourous.

Load Times
Boy was I suprised, tons of the other PSP games have suffered from bad load times, that problem isn't here. It takes a matter of seconds to load from one level to another.

Sound
Well I kinda covered it earlier but the sound is great, the voice overs are wonderful and the music goes well with the level or situation.

Problems
Sad to say it but yes, there are a few issues within the game, very minor but a couple. The camera is fixed in a certain locations which can be a hassle but is far from unplayable. Many complain about the camera angles, to get the camera back behind you all you do is tap R, simple as that. Also there are a couple problems with hit detection, I only experienced this once so isn't a big deal. Hope none of this hinders you from enjoying a great experience.

Overall
This was probably and by far my favorite time spent playing a PSP game so far. The games story is great and is the dialogue. I really enjoyed playing this game. To anyone looking for a great platformer then this is your best bet. Check it, MediEvil Resurrection.

First of all, you shouldn't listen to what the others are saying about this game's camera. The camera is perfect and I didn't find any problems so far. The whole story and gameplay is very comic which really makes you enjoy the game. Sir Daniel himself is a laugh.

The game offers alot of replayability and mini games through out your quests. The music is really good and fits in very well with everything that is happening. The graphics are really great too, the screen is not too dark and every detail can be seen. Perhaps the only problem occuring here is combat - the lock-on feature isn't really helpfull, I think if you just keep pressing all the buttons like a maniac will give you a better result in fighting the enemies.

Don't start thinking you will pass this game in 3 days and then let collect dust. Some levels can really chalenging and could take you more than one try to pass it. Throughout the game you will receive different weapons. The multiplayer games are really fun too, there are 10 or so mini-games. And there is one really cool thing - the demo games. You have a demo of WipeOut and Fired up - both of which have game sharing, which means you can play with a friend with one UMD and one demo.

If you are looking for something new, in beat 'em up style, this is the perfect game. Believe me, you will not be dissapointed, it is worth every cent.

It's a great game, get it! Nothing is wrong with it. I never played this on PS1 so to me it is a great PSP game. The cut scenes and voice overs are great! I really have no idea how this got a bad rating. My advice is go out and get it! Good luck and have fun. :D
