i have a psp and a compaq nx 7000 centrino computer with wi-fi. and i try to connect my psp with the compaq so the psp 'throw the wipeout"s pure browser' to be connect to the intenet by a dail up connection from compaq.i canot connect them.psp or compaq cant see each other. i try with an external wi-fi card zip !!nothig!pease help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! +

You have to have your PSP in host mode for the computer to establish an adhoc connection with it.

You can use a wireless router and internet connection sharing to create a 56k wifi access point. Last summer, when I still had dial up, I did it. I'm afraid I don't recall the details and it took some rearranging in Windows.
