On Lumines what are people generally scoring on the time attack mode?
I can get 31 squares in 60 seconds and 93 in 180 seconds. Probably very bad scoring but I think this time attack is the best part of Lumines.

i'd say its REALLY important to look at what's next and plan ahead, if you don't, then when an unexpected block comes you waste time fumbling with it and you could miss out on a really good combo. and also a crapload of practice. the more you play your average score steadily increases.

averaging 60 in 60 is good, averaging 100 in 60 is insane

what do you average itsmeoreo? i can get 70's or 80's pretty comfortably.

i average around the 100s, actually, its probably closer to 110-115

One problem I have is that I cannot drop blocks quickly and accurately. Any advice on how to improve in this regard besides practice?

i'm not really sure. i kinda just developed acuracy through playing a lot of challenge mode. (110-115 itsmeoreo!!???!! that's crazy awesome!!!)

i suppose one gains speed through repetition, its all i can really say. accuracy happens as u understand more why youre placing certain blocks in certain areas
