On Lumines what are people generally scoring on the time attack mode?
I can get 31 squares in 60 seconds and 93 in 180 seconds. Probably very bad scoring but I think this time attack is the best part of Lumines.  +

i'll have to try those. i think my next goal though is going to be getting 999999 engough times so that every score on my leader board is 999999

You are a Lumines animal...do you have a video? I'm just curious how people can physically get scores like that. I don't think my synapses fire fast enough (or that I have enough time to hone their connections).

I'm starting to dream about Lumines these last few days because I've played it so much. Also when I close my eyes to blink I can see lumines blocks burned into my retinas. Anyone else get these symptoms? :D

Yes, actually.
Also there are some square tiles in various locations around where I live and work and the tiles are one of two colors..so...yeah...when I see them I start to see them move and then I mentally move them to create blocks.
Perhaps a break from the game is in order.

im out on vacation for a couple dats, peace out...wayners, hope ya get to around the 120s when i get back cuz i feel like retiring for a while, 400 in 180 is plain insane cuz thats around 130+ per minute and im stuck at the 390s

I still can't break 50. I'm just not cut out for timed attack mode.

sure you can, it'll just take time. for me, my challenge mode strategy was really slow and careful so for time attack i had to completely change my approach. it might just take you some time to get really comfortable in time attack and build up speed.

I can sort of see what you are talking about, wayners999. My score is steadily growing in Timed attack mode but I keep maxing out at around 50 blocks. I think that my strategy has gotten me as far as it can and I now have to change something about my playstyle if I wish to get a higher score.

my score is steadily increasing too, then i seem to level out for a little, then you increase a little more, it just takes time.

Anyone know if the folks at inthebin are working on a version of their software that works with the 2.0 patch?
