I feel realy stupid, but i don't know where else to turn, and i've been trying to download music to my PSP and have been having problems since i got windows vista. You see, i have windows vista, a PSP system (Version 3.80) and for some reason, i cant syncronize music to my PSP using media player, like i did when i had XP. i was hoping i could downgrade to the older version of media player that i used before i got my new computer, but i can't. I've tried copying and pasting music from all the sources i have(media player 11, limewire) and that doesn't work eaither. But i digress, for anyone with media plaer 11, when i hook up my psp to my computer using my usb cord, i can open, close and delete files from my PSP, but when i copy and paste files to my music folder in the PSP, the file name will appear, but there's nothing in the PSP's music file when i unplug it.While in media player, the icon that says "Connect a device" doesnt change to the display showing the amount of memory left on the device, and the Start Sync button at the lower-right hand corner is grey. i've also tried saving files straight to the PSP from the "Save as" menu in limewire and media player. im not sure what else to do.

Can you at least copy (for example) an image file to the PSP? Or any file?
What I'm saying, break it into two parts: Copying files, and then copying music files.

If it's just music files, then are they DRMed files from I-(pay-too-much-for)-tunes or the like?

If they're DRM-encrusted files, then you might as well forget about it.
