Okay! The wait is over -- PSPWare 2.0 is out! Enjoy and please post your feedback and report any problems or bugs! We are now hard at work on the next big update, but no release dates this time (yet anyway)!

NOTICE

You will have to re-select the playlists/albums and movies (but not re-convert) that you wish synced to the PSP with this update. The update will also re-sync all files onto your PSP. This is to accomodate for the new Sync Profiles and Dropboxes features.

The backup folder has been changed and you may remove the old Game Saves folder found in the PSPWare folder (or move it elsewhere for safe storage) if you wish. Keeping it in its current location is fine as well. The new Game Saves location is in the Backup folder within the PSPWare folder.

Quite unstable when adding new files it seems. Tried adding about 20 or so cartoons and it gets about 4 of em listed pauses for a second and unexpectedly quits. But nice job adding new features. I'll continue to wait for these bugs to be worked out.

There's a 2.0.1 update just posted to fix a minor bug. Thanks rkelez for your report, we will look into it.

The teardrop is a shortcut to the dropbox for that section.

I don't understand how the dropbox works...
How can I use this feature?

There's some information about it on the product page link

We are working on documentation and that will be coming in an update soon, as well as an FAQ.

Basically, the dropbox is a way to automate/integrate or easily copy files onto the PSP. They must be in a format the PSP understands. For example, you could download some sample movie from Sony's PSP Connect site and drop it in the Movies drop box, it will show on up on the PSP on the next sync. Removing the files will remove it from the PSP on the next sync.

We expect developers will create some applications to integrate with this, and there are surely already applications that can be used together with this feature.

You can also use it to just drop a few images or songs into the PSP quickly without using iPhoto or iTunes.

rkelez: Please download PSPWare 2.0.1 (new build 218), it should correct the bug you just reported. Thanks!

It's working now (the dropboxes)....weird.
I had to run a first sync before it worked. I think the dropbox items should be displayed in the PSPWare, as regular files to be sync
I'll keep checking it

Yes you are correct -- a first sync is required. We will address this in the next update.

We'll also look into your request to list the items for the dropbox in PSPWare.

Thank you, after some initial problems, PSPWare is working like a smooth ride again!
And I'll be looking forward to your documentation! It's a must for such a great app like this.
It's great to have developers like you listening to the user's feedback. Big Props to you

When I selected the Photo tab. It crashed! Launched it again and tried it again and sure enough it crashed. I was just able to sync my music. Could it be because I'm using iPhoto 2.0.1 Interesting how that's the same version PSPWare is at now.

Phervency: Yes, iPhoto 2.0.1 will not work. We need the iLife version ;-) Something a little earlier than iLife may work, but is untested. But thanks for your report, we will add some dialog to notify the user of this.

iomatic: The backup tool will automatically backup your game saves, only when they change, as to not waste space and time. You can restore a backup by choosing the game save you want to restore, then clicking the "Restore" button, then connect your PSP (if it isn't already connected). Choose the date of the backup you want to put back onto the PSP and click Restore, then Restore once more to confirm on the next dialog.

Docs are coming!
