Media manager won't run, please help. - PlayStation Portable

I just installed media manager 2.0a. When I go to run it it says 'the application failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect' and that reinstalling will fix the problem.

I have tried reinstalling this several times and updating to 2.0b, still no luck. I am running windows XP x64 edition which seems to be the problem. I have SP1 and SP2 installed.

Is there a patch or download or something I can change that will make this work? I have actually owned this software for about a year but have yet to get it to work.

"The easiest way to movie music, movies and more to your psp" it says on the cover... year right... if it works maybe.

I am sure someone else has asked this before but I searched the forum and did not find anything like it.

i have the same problem it used to work now i get application key not allowed encodes failed and sony has been unhelpfull because the require 15$ for a 1 time resolution with tech suppout and they cannot accept canadian credit cards ! ? i think it must have been an automatic update that windows dounloaded that messed us all up so i think sony is unaware and off the hook bill gates should be paying us for our wasted hours trying to get the damn thing to work
