i was updating to 3.72 wireless during the update i was not connected to the ac unit and the battery failed now nothing comes up the power light turns on and thats it the screen is blank ive tried the psp recovery method of holding the powerbutton up and the r button but nothing works thank u in advance

you will need pandora bettary for it to unbrick but im not sure how to make one

Yep. Google Pandora Battery PSP.

The basic trick is that if the battery S/N is reprogrammed to all binary ones, then the PSP will re fl a sh the R O M using the memory stick. Or something like that - check the details yourself.

I've not tried it (no need), but it is all over the web.

I've made a Pandora's battery before and I still have it. I'm assuming you have a PSP phat so just take out the PSP battery and crack open the case. Take serious caution on the pronged part cuz if you mess that up you're screwed in every way imaginable. After you have it open, look for a small black chip that has eight silver pins -four on each side- and look at the side that says "ICO4". Take a razor and a soldering iron and slightly heat it and pull the eighth pin up. If you don't have a soldering iron, take a pin(regular sewing needles are awesome), and scrap the pin off. Since you're completely disconnecting the pin this way, you CANNOT reverse your battery back to normal and it will become a perma-Pandora. After you get the pin up or off, you'll have a Pandora's battery.

Side Note: If you don't have another PSP, you'll need a Card Reader to make the magic memory stick or just a Memory Stick slot in your computer. You need at least a 512MB Memory Stick for this.
