w00t! I just found out that I am getting one for Christmas! (I was snooping around my parents closet and I found it...) ^.^ I can't wait! So yes, I am buying the Wii...In my mind, the Wii is better than PS3 and the 360, sure they may have better, high-def graphics but Nintendo focuses on fun! Super Smash Bros. Brawl!!! Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess!!! Pokemon Battle Revolutions!!! w00t!

sounds justs like what happened to me with the ps3 but i had found it in my parents closet and could not shut up about it and they had gave it to me

I played the wii at my friends house for like 8 hours hehe
Tennis is the most addicting thing with 2+ people, and makes your arm sore if you play hard

The Wii so far hasnt had any good games but it does look promising ( project hammer, SSB: brawl, etc) this happened with the 360 and ps3 also, having no " WOW" launch titles...... Im getting the 360 and my brother is getting the Wii, the 360 just has more games that intrest me, Halo 3, Rainbow Six vegas, Gears of War..... my brother is more into Super Smash Brothers and Pokemon and Red steel.... I guess I get the best of both worlds! Anyway, 20 days and a few hours, christ mas is gonna be great this year........ ( dont for get that christmas isnt all about the presents)

jeez...why is everyone rooting through their parents closets? spoiling surprises...lol you say the 360 interests you because it has more games, but halo 3 isnt out for ages and rainbow 6 will be out on ps3 too...that leaves gears of war...have to admit that its great online, but the game itself is sooo short and linear, it only really has great graphics. anyway, just saying that the choice will be there for ps3 if you are prepared to wait a few more months...i nearly got a 360 the other day but ive decided to stick to my guns and keep waiting for the ps3....the wii doesnt interest me at all and i see it as a total gimmick, i can see the wii being difficult to develop for in the longrun and getting dropped by a lot of devvers.

Yeah, I agree with parkerfresh....I don't think he said it directly, but I think Gears of War sucked...coming from an Online Fanatic/Player of Halo 2...It was 3rd person...and retarded...

I even looked in their closet ...nothing.
So my wife and I had to GO TO TARGET AND BUY IT OURSELVES!

woah there divinedragon! i never said i didnt like GoW, just that the single player isnt that great, i LOVE it online when i play with friends, not so good with people you dont know because sometimes there are communication issues and its quite a strategic game. i would pick GoW over halo any day, and i would pick half-life over ANY shooter. i dont mind halo2 online, but i HATE the screaming kids and fanboys, ruins the experience...sometimes popularity can ruin games

forgot to say that you should say something like 'i hate the wii, i played it and it sucks' to your parents on christmas eve, then look at their faces...lol, just drop it in real subtle during a wii advert or something...dont say it before xmas eve though because they might exchange it at the last minute...i know its cruel, but its too funny to not do

Twinkie..he's only joking. I'd be happy to be getting ANY console for C-mas. I just got my xbox 2 months ago.. <NOT the 360!> <lol> I guess I'm just old..but I still think the graphics on the Xbox are quite nice, and the games are cheap as hell now . Peace.

twinkie i was only joking dude...i know what its like mate, im the eldest of 5 kids so christmas was tight for me bro...i never got a new console til the ps2 came out and i purchased that myself...i survived on second hand consoles til then i remember when my folks got me zelda:ocarina of time and put a bag of sweets in the box and made me find the lovely gold cartridge christmas isnt just about getting stuff, thats just a bonus
