Went to EB games yesterday for a Nyko THeater Expirence,and was talking with the salesman and he said that the psp sales were in the dumper. Game production slowdown, UMD movies no longer being produced by any production company,lack of new accessories/add ons save for the GPS system. so do you think he's right? He said that the DS was totally out selling the PSP even with the price drop. is the psp doomed? or will it be a phoenix? +

it isnt dying, sony just has 2 wake up and stop all these gay security updates. they also have 2 put out some worthy games. if sony duznt wake up, then yes, the psp will die

man i kinda agree theyre arent many good games out for the psp i mean and if theyre are the gameplay sucks especially with only one analog stick for those fps... and another thing ive bin tryin to get metal slug anthology for psp for such a long time now i preordered it like a week and a half ago and the place were i wanna get it (gamestop) they say the the date is being pushed to next month on the 2nd of january >:O soo mad

That game, Metal Slug was first slated to come out in November I believe, the release date has been changed almost a dozen times now. All I can think of is they were still tweaking it that caused the delay. I too also am looking forward to this game and hope it does come out on the 2nd. By the way the Uk and Japanese version one (and yes, we get it first this time around) doesn't come out till February sometime, with no firm final date given.

I believe that Mortal Kombat unchained is the best title for the PSP yet...I just got it...today...hehe...it's Christmas...hehe... vV_Ov

now think...would it be in his best interests to tell you the truth here? actually,the ds may not be outsellng anything there...he was just telling you that so you might be inclined to get a DS instead of a psp.....they are responsibile for their inventory...if they dont sell them they take a loss on them.....

I don't understand what you said, but the PSP just completely destroys the DS...The PSP has h0m3br3w, fun(sometimes) games, videos, movies, music, pictures, internet, rss, locationfree tv, camera, GPS, etc...the PSP is awesome! The only thing the DS has is...games...and Pictochat...wow...

ok im a big psp fan , i admit sony is letting people down but only those who have no patience. No one wants to see things in the long run, they want everything right away.the psp has a great future just give it time. Better games will come , insane accessories will be made. and we can all laugh at the guys who bought a DS

hopefully Sony gets there act together before the PSP dies, honestly i like the idea of the UMD movies but i dont see a purpose for them. i mean there the same price as a regular movie that you can only watch on a 4 inch screen, and accersories? i'm pretty sure i was promised a camera for my PSP and i have yet to see it when sony gets the act together and realizes that they have a product that can make them a lot of money then they will start to make money from this if they dont do then i see a quick and untimely death to the PSP its probably going down like the 300 spartans (i mean they gave a GREAT fight but in the end they all died)

sony seems to only like those in japan. for everone else... well we just have to keep on waiting for everything new

I really hope the allegation that the DS's sales are killing those of the PSP are false or exagerated. There are some really deep, great looking and detailed games for PSP. I think that there is no contest beteween the 2 systems. If the DS is up, I think that it is for one of two reasons: one, that the market is completely different hence not relevant to compare the two sales; or two, the DS is has novelty appeal that will surely wear off.
We can hope!

no psp is not dying they nedd to put all of the good games out on stock also they need to get all of the good movies out here in arkansas we dont even have all of the harry potter movies out on stock and i am a big fan if psp doesnt keep their game up the psp will die !

when ppl see "playstation portable"they see playstation and like 2 think that it has ps2 graphics but in the end it doesn't
it has good graphics but for a "portable device"not like the ps3 where its 10x the size of psp
psp doesnt have the fault here ,sony does,they have 2 wake the f*** up and realize that unless you do something ,the very nice psp will die
get it together make better games ,lower the price of those expensive memory sticks,OBVIOUSLY make a battery that last 5x longer than the current better ,and make your products cheaper i mean come on i paid 20$for the remote control

Of course not, it's just other things are needed to be focused on. Besides half the guys i know have a PSP.
