sorry if this is an old question, I did a search...
I played socom tonight and got into some maps I never played online before...? When the game was over, I checked my playlists to make a server and found all the (for me) new maps I played tonight...
Did we get new maps? Or is this normal as you get higher in rank...?
I'm playing EU version at the moment.... +

Yes we did get new maps...at least for Socom 3 PS2 they are "new/old maps" from Socom 2 "Last Bastion", "After Hours", "Liberation". I have not been on Fireteam Bravo to see if they are the same.... They will be charging for these Maps very soon... it is a free trial right now.
On another note these maps are really laggy and full of bugs and glitches, I will not be buying them....

I havent been on in ages... I dont know... Maybe they were maps that typicall arent played due to needing smaller teams? There are a few that typically never get played as most people make games for 16 players.
Do you know the names?

Thanks for the help, I figured it out, the maps where always on there (high altitude, market, bunker etc) but I could never choose them when creating a game, now on the english speaking server I can, but on the dutch speaking still not. So I created a game on the english, saved it and loaded it in the dutch room, they were all suprised so I guess there's a difference...
I think you are right yoyo_pete, they are obviously never played because of their size or structure, although I do like some of them...
btw I bought a boxless US socom from ebay last night, so you all will be able to frag me soon...!
