At first I preordered Talkman euro because I was interested in the language software and the microphone...
but after I preordered (you must know the feeling, curiousity grows) I start doing some research and I found an article that Talkman could also be used with the PSP headset.

At that point,as you SOCOM freaks should understand, I havent thought another minute about the language software, all I wanted was to try using the Talkman mic with SOCOM! (I really hate the headset, too much wire, that's why I was allready using this link to use my pc headset, but that still needed the remote control, which I also don't like. (maybe I-pod users?)

Well it finally came in today, and it works!!! People online didn't believe I used the Talkman, but it's real!!
Finally I can get rid off the ugly white unconvenient remote control, and use my wireless headphones!!!
or any headphones!

The Talkman game is still sealed btw... Maybe I'll have a look at that later....

Tell me what you think...

pricing depents... if you like the talkman and have socom allready but no headset the talkman game is cheaper...
the psp headset is sold seperatly for 39 dollars (am I correct?)

if you buy the socom/headset combopack, socom is cheaper offcourse
but if you allready have socom and don't like the psp headset, talkman is a good option

talkman can be used with the socom headset, and is sealed seperatly and maybe can be sold to someone with the socom headset or the other version of talkman (asian languages), I think if you put in on your local swapmeet site (we have marktplaats.nl) you''ll get rid of it in a day...
I did today... got 30 euro's for it, and it has cost me 40 with mic. (because I preordered, it was still priced as a normal game $49,95) now it costs $57 if I'm correct...

people who bought basic psp pack's have to buy another $29 remote contol to use the headset (which in my opinion is really ugly, doesn't fit the psp and the wire is to stiff and dirt attracting)

Also I didn't mention, I live right next to a train track, and the psp headphone's sometimes often arent slightly loud enough to hear speech all the time when a train passes, I need headphones that are shut off completly, earbuds, or give some pressure on the ear, the psp headset just hangs on my ear and picks up a lot of train noise (and they really don't go loud, my wireless logitech does 122db with the psp, that's way to loud but I have the choice)... So I do understand people like the psp headset, but it just doesn't work for me, also would be a lot better if it could plug straight into the psp instead of the remote (people with standard packs will agree)

further the psp headset and mic is very good quality I must say!
